Don't blame me, I'm only the messenger, the authors welcome your feedback.
Remember the company makes its money from the accuracy of its forecasts and its still in business !

"As I have said you note an average price the way you want."
I haven't invented a new meaning for financial terms, but you appear to have your own set of non-standard meanings.
So any post you make on financial matters referring to a financial term is worse than useless as it is incomprehensible to readers as they do not know your definitions.

'How do you think these other countries are getting back to normality?'
Which countries are these ?
'I do my own precautions which have so far been several weeks ahead of "expert" advice... The old saying better to be safe than sorry. Is my expert.'
So you started social distancing, Stay at home, self isolating weeks before the 'experts' imposed it ?
But now when we at/near then peak number of people infected you want to remove these restrictions, how is that better safe ?
Is it your opinion that we let everybody decide individually what precautions to take and if they do get infected then its only their fault ?

'Are we really incapable of using our brains to minimise risks'
Well is covid19 has outwitted the (top ?) brains we've put in charge of countering it and infected Boris Johnson, Chris Whitty, Matt Han**** recruiting them to spread its cause.
So the answer may be yes ?
The worry is that Matt Han**** is actively considering restrictions being lifted and does not know which way that decision will go. Gives you confidence ?
What I don't understand is that (according to daily briefings) optimum actions have been carried out at the optimum time so we will just repeat the same cycle over and over again until a large percentage of the population have immunity ?
Restrictions have already been eased. Seems that you no longer have to stay at home in your primary residence or is it that the UK gov discriminates between the PM and the people.

Are the 'gaps' you are referring to price changes
- weekend fri 3 to mon 6 27.76 - 28.58
- overnight mon 6 to tue 7 29.66 - 30.64
What about
- overnight 7th to 8th 30.91 - 30.02
or any non-trading period ?
How's the buybacks going ?
"It's as if you know what is going to happen."
Are you really as thick as you make yourself out to be ?
It's because I admit I don't know, in these 'unprecedented times' what is going to happen.
I reiterate anybody who does is deluded !!

"The BOD will judge as to whether all profits need to be retained or not.
They are in a better position to know these things than you."
Anybody who think they know what's going to happen with any degree of certainty is deluded.

What's needed is for the BOD is to give the confidence that it has noticed the change in trading conditions and has a plan how to run the business successfully in the changed circumstances. This really shouldn't need spelling out to anyone !
Personally I think that there is enough uncertainty to retain the cash as an insurance policy, it can always be distributed later if it is not needed.
Doing nothing until the bailiffs are at the door may be comforting for some but I don't think it will impress the market.
