Commy, there have been a few such instances over the past couple of days and they strike me as odd.
Mind you when I posted as such, TSBS ridiculed me by saying they were obviously expecting an RNS that didn't arrive, although that one was a buy at 4.30pm and a sale at 8.05am the next day. Good to know that someone else thinks they're a tad strange!

Hottrader: I presume you're referring to the arbitration request.
If so, then it is not mentioned as you say. I observed the same at the time they were released and concluded that had there been a potential material claim of substance the auditors would have insisted on disclosure. As such, in their opinion it is not material, which is very good news.

Arsenal: the sp can do anything at any time, with any share. All it could take would be a rumour or just a sizeable buyer and a change of momentum and we could hit 1p even in the absence of news. Remember how we spiked up to 1.8p a few years back on nothing (yes, I know on massively fewer shares issued but it is just the principle).

Punk: I don't know about IG but my broker is often similar at times. I get round it by giving them the order with a limit; maybe that will work with IG..

I see we have had another 1 trade ... so the accumulation continues ;-).
Interesting that the rampers have now stopped bothering to comment on these (although I am surprised hottrader hasn't) ... still if we get one a day then one day it will be right and we will get an RNS ... that is 'one day' as in some day not as in me being right, as that never happens!
Would be interested if anybody ever discovered what rumour triggered the mini spike yesterday.
