Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Good morning Looed
Thanks for sharing the message you received from the company yesterday morning.
May I ask whether it was in response to a message from you or did you just receive it from them unprompted by yourself? If it was the latter then it would be clear that someone is monitoring this Board on behalf of the Company.
Indeed.
All the best.
jaytee41: not if they've been reading this board recently. They only message when there is something concrete to say and there isn't yet so I wouldn't worry, well not any more than usual anyway.
I suspect the ajb account administrators are just catching up with some of the other investment houses who have closed accounts; one thing is sure, we would know any news long before they would.
GLA
FFS - now they're all back!
I refreshed my screen a few times and logged in on a different device to ensure it wasn't just a glitch, yet now I appear a plonker (Rodney!)
Good morning all
It seems a load of posts from yesterday have been removed. Yesterday's discussion was all very relevant to the share and will have been of interest to anyone invested here, yet they have all been removed.
Makes one wonder what the point is of having the board if sensible reasoned debate is removed....
Here it is. Posted by Cymro1864 on 4 August:
Natia Turnava - "Frontera" is important for us as an American business and very soon, I am sure, we will reach a mutual agreement
As for the spread of false information, I would like to call on those channels, which keeps soon seize such unverified information, to check who are the respondents, in order to not be as awkward as today - responded to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Mrs. Turnava American Company The accusation made on behalf of the former manager of "Frontera", as if the Georgian side is obstructing the activities of "Frontera".
According to Natia Turnava , the Georgian side really had an arbitration dispute with "Frontera", but since then the cooperation has continued in a constructive mode.
"Today, the American" Frontera "made a statement that the gentlemen who speak on behalf of" Frontera "do not represent this company at all. Therefore, I urge everyone to calmly verify the information and avoid speculation.
Although we did have an arbitration dispute with the American Frontera, we have been cooperating quite constructively ever since. One of our main demands is that Frontera take into account the existing wage arrears to employees. "Frontera is important to us as an American business, and very soon, I am confident that we will reach a mutual agreement," said the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development

StarRage: Natela Turnava said that an agreement was near, or words to that effect, a couple of weeks back. It was reported on here but it is challenging for me to look back as I am only on mobile atm.
It should be easy to find as there were a few smilies in the posts for once ;)!
StarRage: I would envisage that Outrider would get some sort of debt and or equity agreement moving forward, and possibly YA. If so, the debts requiring immediate settlement would not be significant. No, I don't expect any payout any time soon and am not in the special dividend la la land camp. But if the GG give us a licence then there is a possibility of an investment by someone to get us going, which may give us a return ultimately. At this stage, given the GG rhetoric, it looks more likely than it has for a while.
If a deal is done with the GG then the Company will have to do a deal with Hope too; not least to settle that court case. So, if a deal is done, this court case won't be after anything more than costs and paying off the remaining creditors in the liquidation. That will be small beer (comparatively). We will know the outcome and where we stand (either way) long before this court case gets anywhere near an outcome imo.
NJames: thank you for sharing what you've read. The action is against ZM and SN and, if defended, will probably take years to get to judgement.
In the meantime, if there's a deal to be done with the GG then it will have been done. In that scenario it would be highly likely imo that FIC would get paid off and the action stopped. So if there's a monetisable asset (and therefore a chance we could get a return) we will know where we stand long before this case comes to a judgement.
StarRage: well in this instance the court case is just noise in so far as it doesn't involve the Company. Indeed, presumably any one (or more) of us could bring a similar case against ZM and/or SN? There would be the not insignificant matter of the huge cost of bringing the case of course!
Thank you Looed.
I should imagine Zaza is woefully regretting his decision to start that original court action in Texas :).
Good morning Looed. Thank you for sharing this. Does the document explain why SN is included in the action; it seems like it is more ZM they feel has done wrong?
Presumably you said "I can't remember"?
Sorry ;).
It's reappeared! How bizarre.
Maxcady probably posted his/her political post in the hope that the thread, including Looed's group paid for translation, would be removed by the LSE administrators. Fortunately they only removed his/her post and not the whole thread :).
linandy: all countries have corrupt crooks ... just look at our Government ministers present and past.
Many thanks again Looed.
"Brief" is a misnomer!
MontiBurns: the last official statement from the Company re Zaza'z shareholding was on 9.5.18 when he held 6.60%. I'm sure if he had purchased more shares after that they would have told us as it would have been positive news. You will recall that there was a persistent large seller in the months before delist and, given what we now know, it seems very plausible that that was Zaza. So his shareholding may well be below the 6.60% now.
Daily Mail readers don't think.
