Motzfeldt greenland rare earth minerals
The Motzfeldt system in Greenland is a significant site for rare earth minerals, particularly niobium and rare earth elements (REEs). The Motzfeldt Deposit, located in the Gardar Province, is home to a substantial defined JORC Mineral Resource of 340 million tonnes, which includes 1,564,000 tonnes of zirconium, 884,000 tonnes of total rare earth oxides, 629,000 tonnes of niobium, and 41,000 tonnes of tantalum. The system's unique geological processes have mobilized and reconcentrated these minerals, making it a key player in the global rare earth supply chain
