The buybacks were done purely to further line the deep pockets of McCall and friends. Oh, and in desperation. The SP is rising due to the on-going rumours of something spectacular is in the pipeline. If it dries up expect a swift return to normal.

For the record I admire the likes of Trump, Putin etc and cringe when the likes of Starmer and Co pretend to be " Pro-British" when the absolute opposite applies. Just for information I'm still invested here and I'm actually thinking of holding, just for a while longer. The reason ? Nothing to do with ITV but should the great Donald pull off a peace plan I'd expect the market in general to like it. Then I'm out.

Lets get one thing clear. What else is supporting the SP at the moment ? The gossip regarding bids, takeovers, joint ventures etc ? We've had buybacks, decent write ups from the Dame telling us they've cracked it as we're on track to deliver shareholder value hasn't worked. Unless something comes of the former this will bleed badly.

If there was a sniff of truth in all this dung story, probably set up by Dumbo the Dame, we'd be the absolute last to know about it and the SP would respond likewise. Fact is that's exactly what it is....a story. McCall's completely run out of ideas, not that she had any to begin with. GET SHUT.

Pogo. Why is the SP below your expectations ? Why is it that you only see good in McCall as if she's some kind of saviour to ITV ? She's wiped billions off it's value and investors money likewise. Is she really the best they can do ? Logic simply goes out the window whilst she's in charge as I believe she's despised in the City.
