Thanks Jed. I guess as a holder and critic of McCall and quite rightly so over a number of years I'd be glad to get out of here with another 20-30% should that be the case. Fingers crossed but I just don't trust the board here as they've proved time and time again they are utterly useless and the only thing they've done right is to get rich on us lot.

Obviously without knowing the details should I sell or hang about for a counter bid and a bidding war commences. Haha, made be laugh that amongst all the doom. Must be the only Company that's in line for a bid and the SP doesn't move. Now if McCall was to get the big boot in stead of milking the business you'd see a rise no doubt about it.

I'd much prefer the Dame to be sacked under gross misconduct regulations, stripped of her shares and pension pot without appeal. Probably walk straight into a Labour government roll with those credentials.

What is the issue with you just accepting that the pessimists have been closer to the mark far greater than the optimists have been. The SP has been trashed by an incompetent COE for what seems like a decade and things ain't going to change under her stewardship unless there's a bid.

Just as a matter of interest (to me) I sold my second batch in ITV about a month ago and have doubled it already. He who dares.....

Needs to break the 160 and either hold or push on. Pull back to the 140's or lower on the cards otherwise.

I'll second that comment. Its an utter disgrace that there's been not even a sniff of information on any progress whatsoever. Regardless of any difficulties on the deal shareholders should not be having to second guess on where this this is heading. Is it on or is it off or is it close to an announcement ? Where's the good old Dame when you need her. Still creaming in her millions for doing what ?
