Been researching the pellet plant manufacturing which got me thinking the process itself will use a lot of power for drying etc and came across this Simec company

Scouts what we have in Meygen is a very expensive technical project we are looking at 3,1 mw/turbines which is the biggest in the world if UPS or SUp is the means to that so be it
The intention is to deploy 26 x 3.1MW turbines for the new 80MW of installed capacity.
We expect deployment and installation of these turbines to occur in a phased manner
over the course of 2024E-2026E, with some of the new installed capacity beginning
operations from 2024 and a full 86MW of installed capacity generating power before YE

In short if we get ROC for Meygen it’s big income however if we get it for Uskmouth it is huge

Key milestones in Phase 1A of the MeyGen project were as follows:
In September 2014, Atlantis Energy reached financial close on £51.3m of funding for
MeyGen Phase 1A
In January 2015 construction work commenced at the onshore site
In September 2015, a subsea cable was installed
In June 2016, a grid connection was energised
In November 2016, installation of all turbines and first power export was completed
In June 2017 all turbines generated power, qualifying for ROCs accreditation
In March 2018, Meygen officially entered service for a 25-year
