It would appear Meygen failure to qualify for AT7 was down to clerical errors.

“ The MeyGen PLC determination involved a particularly complex coordinate issue across three CfD units relating to a tidal energy project. The applicant acknowledged that a clerical error had occurred in the portal entry for the westerly coordinate, but the attempted correction at review stage itself contained a further discrepancy (referencing -3.134 rather than the -3.143 shown on the map). The Authority found that the ambiguity had not been resolved and upheld the non-qualification. ”

Mey Bess is not going to public enquiry the council withdrew the objection in September they are just waiting on approval from energy consents.

Proteus is a spin off from Atlantis resources (a previous AMP company )they build and supply turbines along with servicing and maintenance at Meygen

AMP did retain a percentage of PMR.

A while back they did crowd fund but have decided to repay subscribers along with interest .
