Can anyone make out what this is all about?
is it the sale of debs irleland?

Ok we may not be making a large profit ( more than £35m) in Thursdays results but I think it will be very positive with all that the bod's are trying to do with rent reductions overheads etc and as long as the outlook for 2019 is ok I can see these at 12p -15p no trouble.
Now we know debs is NOT going bust but it must be a case of chicken in who will bid first at this price, there must be a number of buyers just waiting to see how low they can push it without missing out on the prize before someone else bids.

Still think 30p is coming soon, then it might be time to buy in.

I think Foo has done enough digging for all of us, and it's about time we saw some good returns.
But again No real reply to questions just more quips.

Also he talks about energy wells in the countryside with batteries but wouldn't it be easier quicker and cheaper to set these up with solar pannels .

After watching this video again Foo does have lots of ideas, he mentioned the energy wells which he hopes to have some field tests in Nov and says they could be set up in the counrty sides etc.
First they need to have cng then that goes to the battery sites where the gas is changed into battery energy and the customers take the battery away and pay by phone.
How can these field test start in Nov if as Foo says the cng plant won't be ready now until Mid next year. So maybe he means the field tests must start in Nov 2019.
Then who's going to pay for the Gas / Energy plant to convert the gas into battery. ?
Still so many questions, but plenty of waffle.

Yes I think you might be correct, but you forgot to say that it's after the next placing and consolidation .
Then everyone will be able to see the true value of vog.

It does seem a bit strange that in last weeks rns Foo says the bod's were concerned that the business didn't have enough cash and were worried about the company running as a going concern.
Yet in todays video Foo says they have enough cash until next year. Just what is the correct state of play.?

If vog are to raise more money and another dilution as we all know they need to , then vog have come up with some good new ideas and areas to move the business.
They have tried West Med which didn't work and moved on, they have tried power plants (eneo ) and that hasn't worked so move on to pastures new .
Now it's local gen sets and engergy wells, you can bet your life that these will be the new areas of focus in the new prosectus / placing to bring in NEW large investors.
After all how can they attempt to raise more money on the current set-up, it hasn't worked.
Also if vog do go down this new route do / will they have to share the income 57 % / 40 % with Gryn etc.

If all these press reports are about right then Debs look set on getting this all sorted by cutting debt / overheads and shutting some shops and and will NOT be going bust like many have said. 12p- 15p by Thursday

GDC is hoping to have 11 customers signed up shortly and then a total of 18 by end 2019.
But what vog haven't said is just how much these gen-sets will cost and vod will have to buy them or pay up front with cash they don't yet have and then get the money back by the total inclusive path, just how long is break even point etc etc.

Forgot to say, they are still trying to sell West Med, how long has that been now, 4 years and still costing £1m a year to be on the books.

Yes reading it through it looks like they are now say eneo may not happen in 2019 and are trying to boost other customers to try and off-set that business. Now much more talk about the new venture Energy wells and also making all inclusive contracts with customers that covers the cost of equipment (gen sets) and the gas.
Yes also looks like the build up to raising more money, but at what price 20p ish?

Have you noticed the press all seem to be pushing the same story give or take a few different words.
Has there been a small leak to a number of close press friend that seem to have passed it on to others, maybe it's all true and it will save any big surprises on thursday.
Or maybe they will all be surprised if Debs posts much better numbers than everyone expects, but what ever happens I cannot see the sp going down any more although it could shoot up to 12p -15p if the outlook is great.

Thanks for that report but there is nothing new in there that we don't already know.
Many think that if Debs were going bust they would have done so by now, infact the bod's seem confident they everything will be all right.
Infact they issued an up-date in Sept and if that comes in at about the same then we should be fine for the next few years.
They are already working on reducing rents / selling off assets / reducing staff overhead costs and could still pay a small divi, now if they do that on Wednesday then they must think they can trade out of this mess.

I suppose everything depends on just how much does MA want Debs, because if debs results are more or less what they said they will be and they have drawn up plans to turn the business around and the outlook is ok, then MA should strike fast with a bid of 30p+ within a week of the results.
Otherwise the market will think debs can make it and start pushing up the sp, that will only mean MA could end up paying 50p- 60p a share.
All looks like a game of bluff and double bluff.

Goodness, I wouldn't suggest anyone's ever been mis-led.
All I am saying is beofre anyone invests more be it pi's or large invetors , if we need another £20m- £40m then there would need to be some G/Tee that they had the new eneo contract in the bag first.
Also eneo might be waiting for vog to have enough cash to see them through another 6-12 months, before they sign any contract.

It's friday and many day traders square their books etc on a friday so one would expect the sp to go down a little.
With regards to Debs deliberately giving false info in the Sept up-date just to keep the sp up would put the bod's in real trouble and could end up in court by the big investors.
They have a duty by law to be open and honest as best as possible so we will find out next week, but from this price there is no reason why we couldn't be 15p- 20p within a few weeks / months if the results / action taken / and out look are ok
