The option to go UG was a backstop option if the company could not identify better value creating opportunities elsewhere.
Hopefully the markets will evaluate the new opportunities to reflect better in the SP what has been achieved.
The resilient supportive shareholders support the company's direction as it places itself for the copper demand and upturn.
It is a handful of small holders and non holders that fail to understand the wonderful opportunity that the company is now well placed to seize.
Whilst shareholder value is being created there can be a disconnect from the SP. At such times some shareholders will take advantage of that situation while others will whine and lose out.
A recent vote on the matter shows that the significant shareholders agreed with the board to position the company to be ready for the evolving copper story.
That leaves the non shareholders and Moaning Minnies to debate yesterday's news on sites like this.
An over whelming majority of shareholders voted for what they wanted.
Being so out of step with the majority would be a sign to exit I would have thought unless already not a holder of course.
Cyberiachas. excellent post showing a good understanding of how in very difficult circumstances the company is well positioned to deliver for shareholders.
Small private investors endlessly bleat about the share price whilst resilient supportive meaningful investors understand that wonderful opportunities have been acquired here. Quite why the whining few are still here is quite baffling.
Serious investors don't whine about constantly needing spoon feeding. It seems the bashing is symptomatic of a failure to understand the value being created here. Serious investors don't seem to have that misunderstanding. Hopefully it will be the genuine shareholders that will benefit from that value creation. At least it is clear that the non holding bashers will never benefit.
Nobody has been forced to invest in any company. There are correct channels of communication for genuine supportive shareholders for those that understand the process of creating shareholder value. The non holding bashers would not fall into that genuine supportive group.
New investors will be drawn to companies that have a solid shareholder base of resilient knowledgeable shareholders. A small group of whining non supportive shareholders will repel new investors. With that comes pressure on the SP. Not confusing at all.
Or you could sell your insignificant holding in light of you not supporting the very people creating value here. Your constant negativity shows a complete lack of resilience indicating your lack of suitability to be a valued shareholder here.
That one account was quite capable of some disgraceful threats towards board members on its own.
Confirmation of the value that has been created for shareholders. Excellent progress.
Despite the downward sentiment across the sector the board have been working under difficult circumstances to build real value which does not yet reflect in the SP. Trust the board and Colin Bird's experience. it seems that a few smaller holders have over stretched but they need to show some resilience if they are to benefit from the inevitable upturn. It was very much appreciated that Colin Bird found valuable time to address the concerns of those mainly small shareholders. Perhaps now is the time to support the board. The lack of trust (from some) in people that know how this works is quite baffling if they are indeed shareholders.
Wouldn't it be splendid if those few who insist on bad mouthing the hard work being done here would just sell up what insignificant holdings they have (if any) and leave the genuine holders here in peace to appreciate the value being created.
Quite why these losers feel they need to be a part of this is beyond me.
One has to look no further than the campaign of negative posting from non shareholders and maybe small shareholders having no resilience to see what has contributed to the share price disconnect here.
Great value is being created here by Mr Bird and the board but some refuse or are unable to see that. Maybe those endlessly whining should take a good long look at themselves as to what is contributing to that share price disconnect.
This is like trying to reason with a toddler throwing tantrums. The SP does not reflect the value that is being created here by Colin and the board. Genuine shareholders will understand that but clearly the non invested lack the ability to understand.
The answer is quite simple. They are not invested but post lies to bully the genuine shareholders.
Howezap. You have appraised the situation here spot on in that the issue is some people are absolutely not onboard with the strategy being implemented by the board. Thanks to the vision and hard work of Colin and his team, value is being created for the benefit of shareholders. Thankfully there is a shift in shares held away from the moaning minnies and into the safe hands of those who understand the company.
MaBaker is one of the few here that understands how to make money from the value being created. Shares are gradually being transferred away from the bashers to supportive holders thankfully.
