The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
This is probably one of there biggest competitors. Listed on the Nasdaq with a Mkt cap of approx £130M. I realise there are differences but if we are only worth 1/4 of this, it gives some idea of the value to us.

Most probably a rollover. You can see the slight difference in price for exactly the same amount of shares.
"The company plans to use $500 million of the IPO proceeds to pay down debt and another $46.8 million for working capital and general corporate purposes. It may also use the proceeds for acquisitions, according to the filing."
(Hopefully some of it will be coming our way)

That large sell may have been hanging about since yesterday. I think you said last night the ask dropped sharply before market close. In that case, the 2 x 2 mil trades yesterday could have in fact been buys. The fact is we will never know for sure. Well done though on your prediction today.
Great post there by doggo on Factom. Says it all really. Oh, and I also ticked up Bozi's post because it lightened the mood and made me laugh.
Kierewiet, that was jammy. Well done.
Have a look at this list of closed end investment trusts and see which ones give out regular updates on there portfolio companies. I think you will find that at best you get a quarterly update. Some of the larger ones post the current NAV on a regular basis but I think that just wouldn't be viable here.

CC, which gold stocks are you referring to? I believe we are doing quite well all things considered. Fool. :-)
Not referring to you there, just fill in the blanks with this.

Medical cannabis is legal in the UK yes. The item in question was referring to the legalisation of cannabis for recreational use.
Item coming up at 10 o'clock on BBC2 today about a fact finding mission to Canada and the possible legalisation of Cannabis in the UK in the near future.
such naivety on these boards. Do people report these posts because they think everyone is going to dump ffwd and then buy sng. beggars belief, it really does.
Sorry, meant to add, it's six months so if you take six months from the 31st Mar, then they have until the end of September if they really wanted to push it.
Slightly different rules on Aim. See page 10 of the aim rules for companies document.

Good luck to you Nightingale. If it does go down that much I might even join you but I can't see it.
Ah, guid post thare robroy, weel dane laddie .
I agree, I can't see this retreating that much now that a superb deal has been announced. The market tends to look forward and may even price in some of that future revenue sooner than we think. Well, hopefully anyway.
Nice tip Dazbrad. It would be really good if the XTR board could become a general tips and advice board between the hours of 11:00 and 12:00hrs on a Sunday. What do others think?
Big article today in 'Shares Magazine' titled 'Time to buy Copper'. Not that i read such magazines, it gets sent to me by my SIPP provider. However, maybe Colin's timing here is spot on. He does after all know a lot about the copper side of things. Here's a snippet below.
"FORGET THE GLOOM
A growing number of experts who track the
metals space say you should forget the gloom,
because the fundamentals underpinning
copper are strong and its price is set for a big
increase over the long-term, regardless of what
happens in the latest ding dong between various
international heavyweights".
Bleeding exciting or what.
