Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Ive posted little here but been an investor since early 2017. Believed all the stuff about right place right time and the fact the directors had skin in the gain but now out. Too many inconsistencies and my choice of investments and brokers has been dire. Never again too many liars and cheats for me.
A couple of large buys today zzzzzz but SP remains unchanged zzzzzzz. More excitement tomorrow :-I
There has always been so much secrecy behind what is going on justified by insider trading. If an honest appraisal and publication of same to all would happen, it wouldn’t be insider trading would it? I think that this is what is needed. You will then find out if there really is a future for the company.
To see my investment doing so well. :(
A company should not trade if its insolvent. An honourable action would be that George and Satu resign as Directors and thus enable a reconstruction. Be careful though, they could be re-appointed afterwards or carry on as employees. As employees with another job title and without a directorship they would still be accountable under Company Law as a Director though if they continued to act as such but it gets messy. I see George in particular taking great pleasure in seeing all investors lose their money so doubt he will resign. I haven’t been following what product developments there have been here for awhile but I hazard a guess at very little? So I think either way you vote for a reconstruction and someone (whoever would?) invests more money only to see it being p*ss*d up a wall on “working capital” (read Directors salaries) or you stand your ground at the company goes to admin. These guys can make sure there is no cash left if they are forced to go and by the time someone else is appointed to run the show.
If you dont vote then it does not count for anything. Just like a general election
The government are not bothered about those individuals that invested here. Their concern will be that they would want the mine to be built, if its a result of an even bargain basement by by Anglo or anyone else then so be it.
With 85,000 (?) private investors of which a great many live locally and they choose London for the vote to take place? Sorry if this has already been posted.
Please i am trying to forget how much money i have lost
Well done to all those who voted again the share restructure. If this achieves anything it is a kick up the Boards ar*e and you should feel some satisfaction that the smug and arrogant attitude of certain members of the Board has been at least dented. If and when this folds, and it probably will the Board members will no longer have the pedigree that they would wish. The stigma of being heavily involved in a failed company will stick. I dare say a new company will be formed to try and continue but with such a track record it will be game over for the likes of this lot. You cannot continue funding this sort of work the way they have done without ever selling a product on for commercial development. The business model has not worked in that respect but has provided those employed with a comfortable lifestyle for many years. I am sorry that this company seemed to offered so much but delivered little for all those that believed.
Just be careful. I tried to vote once before on a previous share issue. I thought my broker was going to carry out my request. They didn’t. It was Beaufort though. I'm sorry to see all these years on that shareholders here are still being fleeced by these operators. Eventually you will all sell and realise losses and replaced by others, who in turn will go through the same cycle. The gravy train continues (for some)
Now sold out. I think the fact that CF is recommending this offer to shareholders speaks for itself in the dire position they find themselves in. No longer trying to piece together a package to sink the shafts and reduce risk. Maybe a counter offer will appear but I am out and crystallised a large loss. I invested with my heart not my head but I guess the mine will be built but I wont be part of it.
Hi Noise, With respect dont concern yourself with the stuff on the liabilities side of the balance sheet, this just shows how funding has occurred in the past and other accounting shenanigans. What is important is what is held as assets. The last reported accounts show total assets of £4.2m of which £3.2m is goodwill and patent cost that have not been written off so leaving only £1m left of shareholders monies. Of course it would be argued by them that their cures for cancer are not shown on balance sheet and I dare say if accounting treatment allowed it would be on there if it was up to the Board. I was an investor here and no doubt will be harangued again for deramping or whatever but years have passed, millions spent of your money, no major investment by the directors and now 1.5bn shares in issue and a further 300m warrants which may also be exercised in the future. The money raised now will go to pay directors salaries and a glossy set of accounts, that is their interpretation of “working capital”
A great article but I would think what we need is certainty above all else so re-engaging with HM government could be a distraction and jeopardise a commercial partnership agreement. There is not a lot of time left and the nearer you approach the point of insolvency the weaker your negotiations position. Its not the strongest now .
The Times this morning BorisJohnson vows to heal the divisions in our society with an olive branch to remainers.
Thank you so much for following through with this on here in your own sweet imitable way.
1 share issued for every 250 held. Something going on. The mine has been sold. Does anyone know what is happening?
I guess its going to be “suck it and see”. The cashburn seems to indicate that there are sufficient resources for the next 12 months although the acquisition of the sales team costing around half a million shown is not for a full year. The notes to the accounts on the transaction value is torturous and I suppose reflects the battering or payment after crop production process. A bit unsettling and only 300K received from customers in the year. Early days but accounts to 31st December will give a better indication of progress and again next years half year results to 30 June more so.
It doesn’t need to be a high price but obviously if set too low and good news were to propel the share to that price it would be actioned. I’m with Hargreaves Landsdown and I wouldn’t be surprised if mine were lent out so will be putting a sell order on all tomorrow, and not 3p!
