No stock of desktops and laptops No customers I wonder why? Oh yes i remember we are working through the night putting out the all new Windows 7 range tomorrow! The company have been good at running down stock of Vista (in my store anyway) which is nothing but good news for DSGi as they won't have the same cock up with stock as they had on Vista launch. I anticipate that the next couple of weeks will see good turnover, not necessarily because of the 7 launch, but more that people have been holding off buying Vista the last couple. Printers are better stocked although still thin on HP / Canon stock (Comet Staples and John Lewis are creaming DSGi in this area now) and inks are better stocked. This is a worrysome are as we had leaked that PCW sales are 30% down on yearly ink sales (remember they make 50-100% on these lines now) and methinks they have over-priced themselves in this area now.

Are you in a big city? The reason I ask is that I work for a large Laptop / Printer manufacturer on the weekends and based instore. Ideal work as I can trade all week and earn on weekends. We are taking on at the moment for a new campaign. I also work 1 day a week in PCW, reduced now as I don't like the DSGi sales model.

There are reasons why I do not think this will be so hard on DSGi as others, however we should all take note of such a bearish sentiment. I work in PCW and I do not have clouded judgement of this company and I would say they are worth 25p at the moment for sure .... not sure if I would put them as a strong buy though. Too many positives in this company that overpower the few bad bits of the company. Although this SP has had a habit of following the banks SP though and they have slipped a bit!

The MM's have kept the spread wide on this one, typically between 20 and 27%. I have always read this as that either the MM's are trying to hold the price down, or they use it to discourage selling. Would this assumption be a true indicator of the MM’s working or am I way off the mark here? Thanks for drawing this one to my attention riddler, looking very favorable indeed.

This is a respectful post, so please none of the personal stuff. Maybe you will have to speak slowly to me, as I must be missing something here (and I have re-read the posts). You guys are angry because two people have shorted this share, is that correct? Forgive me if I have this trading stuff all wrong, but isn’t shorting just another part of trading, and we are all quite able to do it? Surely if a couple people have researched and think the opposite of you guys, and therefore trade in an opposite manner, that it’s all part of the trading game? Surely the people that have researched the best will do the best, after all a failing short has to be filled buy a buy to correct the order. Obviously there are background e-mails flowing that is a part of it I/we do not see, but is that not similar to talking to a mate down the pub about trading? I have read through normal chat and cannot see any real “ramp”, by anyone, enthusiastic posts to be sure, but that is all. The couple of names hinted at here have not posted so what exactly have they done wrong?

Its the sort of downside we would all expect to reach on our own conclusion; therefore I am reading it that its the key message for the future. I hope I am not reading this too much but I feel its should say, we may need to come to the market again if conditions worsten. Am I reading too much in this? From DSGi. 1234 failing due to buyers being crap. Buyers getting Vista laptops correct and have decided not to stock any more until 1 week before the Win 7 launch to ensure they are not left with unsellable stock, which leaves October a bit rough, but correct IMO. Store refits cancelled on a grand scale - the top 50 non WNR have had their mini refits cancelled. Where has all the money gone? Sad. Spoke to my local Curries manager that ha recently gone WNR and has agreed that they have seen a 25% increase in sales on the back of a full refit. Once again he is frustrated by lack of stock.

Yeah I see this being a good investment TBH. Watched the BBC documentry on the Ukraine UK goings on and I like their attitude to the way they have got in there and turned around the communities opinion. Only watching for an entry point atm and was going to buy at 14.00 so a bit more research is required

KIS - I'm not on such a good rise as you, as I was stop lossed at .75 then was worried about the OO and stayed out until just over 1.00, nearly doubled on this trade though, which is great :-) NPP62 - I have absolutely no idea - had this share on my radar since late last year and seen how they overcame one of the reasons for the big drop. No rampers, no persistent posting? Its off the radar at iii but more on the ADVFN free BB's. I can see upside still with out the GF-1 well, but if that one comes in I think KIS will be ecstatic.

losing money on this .... read a post of saltedCod this morning, bought at 12.75 this morning pannicked and sold at 8.25 ... lesson learnt oh no! rebought at 9.25! The trouble is perfectly good posts are getting buried under the drivel, or getting shouted down. There is a few good posters warning on this now, but the groundswell of bullish attitude (not helped by the extreme negative I will add) is astonishing!
