Nice articles Mike, thanks for posting. Read elsewhere about Vanadium being at peak, I suspect its a bit too early to call but these pundits seem to call commodity prices correctly more often than not.

So what is your interest here? What motivates you to come back to a BB when you do not own shares?

Anyway, if you bother to find out facts you will understand the % that Vanadium is used in non Iron and then if you see the size of the potential of the new mines it is hardly a problem. I remember back 8 years ago when invested in Tantalum the China spoof trotted out by people like you. China will withhold exports they said, well they never did and now China really needs to shore their own economy are hardly likely to.

Element23, also the mount of companies seeking to produce Vanadium is increasing. Look up IRON and read their recent release:

As far as the post from Jodrell, well this thread attracts the Trolls I'm afraid and I really do not understand why!

Hopefully I can help with this as the market will take advantage of renting and actually making a slice more money doing it. Better to listen to a producer rather than me though, so have a listen to an interview done recently on this subject from Bushveld: 7 minutes in is where the subject is covered, worth a listen a minute or so before as well.

Something I would expect to see is Seeing providing the Tech for the Premium and mid range vehicles and SM having the bottom end plus a few mid range. This is quite common in the industry, well in most electrical industries actually. Its a way of having the quality where it matters but still giving some tech to the lower end.

Dinoken as far as I know Gen 3 units are already in production in the UK, so I assume the answer is yes.

Yup I got mugged into holding for the first time in years, I got sucked into the hype and thought I was made, what a bloody mug. Last time I ever hold a share, next time these muppets put something out remotely positive (other than giving freebies or announcements talking down to PI's) I will trade again. There really is zero incentive from AIM companies to hold, to think I actually got quote to sell at 14p and I didn't take it, what a mug.

This was a copied post so I should have edited out bulletin point 3. However I think this gets the message out there on what should be happening and MO the wrong time not to be holding Red.

I am not so sure that a strategic partner will be such a quick turn-around myself.

On ADVN the discussion has been centered around what more can we expect to see this year as either stated in RNS's or hinted at. Tis is a copied post but I feel it is worth including here:

Order of announcement should be:

> Financing should be finalised on the German deal.

I took "strategic partners" to not be a for sale sign but a move to secure partnership(s) with a global supply company to effectively transitioning the Timeshifting factor to make that element an easy gain for clients as it is best dealt with by companies like Centrica and Eon and its really echoes the Olde House way of working. I think I am the only person seeing this deal in this manner though :-)

I suspect the next boost to the SP will be an announcement to say that Jabil have tooled up their Italian plant to mass produce the units. This will be the first acknowledgement to the market that Red (and Vanadium) are ready to manufacture in large numbers. At that point things get very interesting.

Looks like Schroders see plenty of opportunity in Red since they have doubled their stake today.

I often wonder if people actually understand the role they are performing in AIM companies. OI's are putting their money into companies hoping for good returns, small returns can be had from FTSE. Companies need PI's only for the money, nothing else, and that will continue until the product breaks free from development. Red are still in development with their offering still not being mass produced. If you cannot stomach that basic fact don't invest in AIM developing companies, simple.

I have successfully traded this company and have made 50% over the years, never quite buying and selling at the top/bottom but this is currently dented by the recent drop. Why am I still here? Well I want this product to succeed, I only have a small proportion of my wealth invested and I realise many elements of knowledge are outside my grasp, but I accept that.

What baffles me is why the Trolls come back again and again to have successive bashes, to what ends? I will not mind in the slightest if you say you are short, but I suspect it is a much more base reason - gloating. Sad people.

The finance is in place for Red, the product is ready, the big order landed, the Manufacturer is ready to tool up their Italian plant and the money to fund big green infrastructure installations is there from the big banks. You really could not think it could get any better, but now Scientists have turned up the heat for economies to actually deliver on CO2 promises.

This is the right product for the current market and the economic future could not be brighter for those of us that believe in the product.

Rental of Vanadium and just who is doing it? Well Scot said that he was chasing Mega deals, almost everyone spurned that idea, nobody believed that the German deal would get financed, etc etc. In the end Scott does not seem to make statements then fail to deliver. As far as the terms of the Red Finance deals are concerned we will probably never know as it will be a commercial secret, just like any other deal with any other company.

Tomorrow the new shares hit and after that the following months of this year should be very interesting indeed.

How things have changed!

The recent release of information on the order book and the prices Red are quoting and securing orders on is mighty interesting. £107m secured so far on Gen's 1 2 and 3, we know Gen 1 ns 2 had little or no margin on, but what about the services that Scott stated would be the revenue streams moving year on year? At the time of last years presentation at Olde House Scott was enthusiastic about Margins of 2%, 3% and 2%, at the time I just did not get it, but now with the information that is in the public domain these modest services will give very, very nice revenues (as long as the clients sign up). I'll let you do the maths on revenue streams.

The three services were Maintenance, Rental of the Vanadium, and a third that escapes my memory!
