The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Have another look tomorrow.
Stopped by to have a look.
Not good.
Some of you may have target lock here on this.
Those of you with materially higher average price holdings might consider stepping out and buying back in a few days.
Just my view...
You may be able to increase your number of shares without increasing the amount invested if this keeps falling .
Stops hit this morning. All out.
Average buy was 53.4
Average sell was 58.6
Roughly 10% gross return.
Easier money elsewhere. This has a bad smell to it now.
Might have another look before the rns and I'm betting that I can get these cheaper next week.
Luck to you all.
OFP
It is actually Key Group not BR .
Apologies. Caffeine deficiency ...
As of 2 Jan 2020 Black Rock have increased their short positions by .11%
Institutional shorts showing at 1.23% on short tracker
When is this expected?
Austin, re: Tencent. They have gone from 331 HKD on the date of that article in October to 377HKD last night. 12%ish...
Not advice but almost every Asia based fund holds 10% of their portfolio.
Worth a look. Dyor.
Aunson.
Tencent. On the Hong Kong exchange will outperform tlw this year.
I read institutional shorts down to 1.12% and the rest PI and spread betting which seems high...
Aunson,
My degree is 40 years old and not economics. I read civil engineering. The concept holds...
While this is doing nothing until either we get a rights issue to raise capital to throw into the debt furnace and spiral down to 20p, or we get a buyout at 80p....
Those are the two events of the solution set.
If you are still here because your ego can't accept an ass kicking on this share, then you are probably at the wrong bus stop.
Gambler,
I did that a few weeks ago. I held this for years and sold out 28 months ago as you do.
Bought back in at average 53p. I had a tip for this from mate in Africa when it crashed. I bought and sold a few times and made good Dosh before it settled.
Happy to hold for a while but other investments in China are outperforming this big time.
I am betting on the buyout and a 2bagger.
We will see ....
Some of you guys are in regrettable positions here needing exponential gains to the so just to break even...
There is an aspect to investment taught in degree level advanced economics courses at better universities...
It is the concept of opportunity cost... Basically, while your capital is invested here, where else could you have put it and what gains have you lost by not doing so...
The idea of 'getting your money back' is dangerous....
As is the idea of loyalty... This isn't a footy team... They don't sell shirts...
If you think your money can do be5ter elsewhere and at lesser risk, you are a moron if you don't pursue that option....
Lecture over... This will be on the mid term so keep your notes....
I see no illegal activity. Nothing illegal about it. Market is free and in play.
Significant due diligence research was done by cnooc and total on lake Albert recently so most of the pieces are in place.
This will go as the present Board are open to offers. 80p might be good enough with this stuck at 60p
Part of a bid strategy... Market price plus 25% = 80p. ..
I was hoping for 100p+...
The geopolitical aspect is impossible to predict. But it's bad ..
Shareholders here are mostly sitting on huge losses although some are sitting on gains like my lucky self.
But all are looking at the exits to n this after the **** storm of recent baad news .... This will go at the first offer.
Been saying this since I came here... The word is that this one is for sale.
The article listed isn't the only media source to put this actively on the block.
Personal positions not withstanding... This is gone... No piecemeal asset stripping and rights issues into oblivion...
116p.... End of Jan....
Of course they are open to offers....

Can't see this moving this except in concert with the oil price.
With the new management team's stated intention of looking for bids, they will be looking for short term measures to cut costs and tweak production.
I would expect that to take weeks.
Luv,
Not everyone here is sitting on losses .. . Just saying
