Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Always possible but that would make the 23 million share daily churn rate and Sammy's 11% pickup from where?
The risk profiles have changed here. Insti's live by rules and don't do gut feels...
I, too, am surprised that we've not seen holdings RNS's corresponding to the volumes of sales in the past eight weeks.
Some of them must have completed their shifts by now.
This one is a strange one.
Might be yesterdays news...

... and are buying themselves out...
Chartists called this bottom last month but I scoffed..
Interesting to see what demand there is after the shorts close as tlw approach target depth in Peru....
Can't see any other positive news source on the horizon.

Auson, it's a strategy. But nobody would buy the Africa assets with all the blox that comes with it.
I reckon the Chinese money that kenya are borrowing will end up in Switzerland or Caymans.

Total want out of Kenya and the last thing they would do is buy tlw and double their stake
Crap shoot TDG... Who can call this bottom?
Chartists, and I hate chartists for oily shares, called 42-43 as the main line of resistance last week and I scoffed...
Yet here we are...
I'm getting dead air from the guys I know in Africa who alerted me to this as in distress.
The CoB doesn't seem to do positive Comms on this such as ECOs upgrade resources end and she seems quite happy to let this flop.
Peru shot end of next month is the next opportunity for good news other than a take over.
The big money seems quite happy to absorb major hits during the repositioning of their portfolio but who other than Sammy is buying?
At present, I'm out of this since yesterday s brief gains and I'm so glad I am...
Figure most takeovers only add 30% premium max and this has lost that in the past 10 sessions.
I'm staying out for the moment.
As always, I will call my shots here .,. But FFS don't follow me as I'm only playing here with the wife's new car money....
My real money is in China and Japan funds....
Stay safe an d dyor...
My gut tells me to quit drinking scrumpy with jalapeno and pepperoni pizza.... And I ignore it completely...
The trend is down.... All the producing assets have "issues" only slightly less than the prospective assets....
Who'd buy this? Total is trying to ditch the same assets we are...
The whole sector is under pressure from environmental snowflakes and reduced demand due to slowing growth...
Russia is fuxing up OPEC s desire to reduce production yet Russia implodes on an oil price below $50.
Difficult times.... Equals opportunity squared....
JP Morgan said, " the time to buy is when there is blood on the streets..."
Local politics crippling African assets to a near standstill in Kenya and Uganda.
Missed shots in Guyana, and a wholesale firing of exploration staff and cost reductions,
We also have a global glut of oil to coincide with reduced demand due to environmental issues, global pandemic, and reduced economic growth projections...
And we get:
Oil rises from 13-month low as new virus cases slow - https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/11/oil-markets-coronavirus-in-focus.html
A glimmer of hope.
I don't think this will move up until Peru or Guyane hits a commercially viable target.
TDG,
It's a viable strategy. I got caught twice in six transactions here over the past two months.
Overall gain but you have to babysit it all the time to avoid kickings.
Sold yesterday and it's already dropped 5% from then.
Caveat Emptor.
Meant to add:
The coronavirus is a 'black swan' for oil and energy markets, says Ned Davis Research - https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/10/the-coronavirus-is-a-black-swan-for-oil-and-energy-markets-says-ned-davis-research.html
Nope .. I respectfully disagree ..it's a sector-wide kicking...
All but specialist investors are piling for the exits....
Only high dividends will bring them back and ironically create share growth...
Imo ..
I expected a management response tbh... They are clearly facilitating the drop with their (lack of a) communications policy.
It was TLWs remit as a senior partner to post the reserves upgrade that eco posted on the O. Fields. But they are on Silent Running... And letting the sp drift.
They want this sold.
I don't hold with chartists views for oilies but the trade bots
seem to....
In keeping with open and honest posts, I'm out at a net loss of 2.6%. can't win em all. Overall a good take here for me but got bit on this last cycle.
I think this may hit the chartists line of 42p this month. Trend is way down...
I will say that I am confident that this is under scrutiny for a takeover ... But the bidder would do well to let the price collapse before collecting his chips..
Just my opinion.
Stay safe..
Thanks all. Very helpful...
When are ARs due?
When is TD expected in Peru?
Too lazy to look it all up. Thanks in advance...
There isn't any...
1. This thing is 87% owned by financial institutions.
2. Since the autobot crash, most/all of those institutions are repositioning as stated numerous times in the quality financial media discussions...
3. They will have placed large orders with their trading teams and the mms will keep an orderly market balancing somewhat supply and demand until the overhang is gone...
4. Institutions are not required or even allowed to state their new holding positions until their whole transaction has been completed...
So for all you Kool Aid drinking cult members (Google Jonestown Guyanne) out there who think the world hates you, guess what? It does... But it doesn't have to go out of its way to wreck your lives and finances as you are doing that on your own....
Some of you need to give up investing and shift back to pub fruit machines....
Just saying....
