....maybe a long stay at His Majesty's smartest prison might be their ultimate destination but no doubt that will take a long time and lots of their - sorry- our money on legal fees. It disgusts me that AIM is open to this abuse.

This is why I preferred Mpac, Good diversification of interests for such a small outfit..
See the RNS for Ilika today. Mpac is partnering and will construct the production belts for their huge batteries in due course.

I am not a fan of buybacks which are loved by Directors because it enhances their holding values. The true view is that where there is money to be made by the company in its businesses, that is where cash should be spent. It is called 'Reinvestment' and it should be the first priority. I am also not averse to growing the dividend to us shareholders!
I hope here that they do a bit of diversification rather than have more eggs in the UK gaming market.
Thunderbird2 -I think you are not correct re the shares bought by Jarvis and held on our behalf. If Jarvis goes belly up, I believe another brokerage will normally be found to continue to hold on our behalf i.e we will become their new clients--
at least I hope so!! Of course, the new broker's terms may well be more expensive than Jarvis!
This SP takes nothing for granted but if the figures are not really good, I would not be surprised if the SP slides. This is not a stock that excites the market at present
Market is turning up and these yield over 7% with likelihood of further improvement as interest rates come down in UK.

Hi adam1986! Very wise to not rush in because of the high risk. But if you have done your homework you will know there is a huge and long established eastern conglomerate standing behind CAPM. Although the capital value is less than £M10 now, it is likely to rise sharply once the JV is finalised so a small position now may be prudent. I have a small number in the 'gamble' part of my portfolio and am monitoring for a drop as the fastbuck players tire of waiting for news. At below 3p on the delay I will top up. Good luck. Invest the biggest % of your savings in safe dividend payers!
....may be best option to get this functioning and profitable. Details would be for the number crunchers but holders of a reasonable number of shares should be eligible for the offer. Also would need a decent life -say ten years and an attractive interest rate (cumulative).
Just noticed your well informed note here, StreetsJ. Thank you very much!
I have averaged down at least once on my holding and still they fall. I am fortunate enough to have cash coming from a recent takeover stock but do not to announce the bottom here yet, even if I miss it! So will just wait for the cash to arrive and if these drop further I may be tempted to go in again. MANO seems a hard one to read accurately. It did not look that way 3-4 years back!
Most holders don't cling on for the cash and new shares. It is not impossible for another pub co to make a better offer but unlikely. However, with Xmas trading while the bid procedure drags on, it might be worth doing nothing at all at this point.
Big up day for most decent shares today. Still wildly undervalued!
Its an outright gambling chip so if you don't gamble and you're not in yet, leave alone.
TJ_Mac- I think we may have to wait until the New Year (see my earlier post) I am heavily in here and know it is high risk, but am hoping for high reward. Enjoy your Xmas!
...the beginning of the end of the bear market?
My broad portfolio - including this- has today marched up for the first time in a year or so. Let's hope so!
Came 2nd by a whisker this year to HICL in the infra awards. I am fine with that. Lots ofpotential and thesemanagers know what they are doing. So far held for 15 years and no reason to do otherwise!
These should be in double figures and by next Interims if all continues at same pace, I expect SP at least mid twenties - assuming they re not in for a bid. I just hope Mariola stays with the co and doesn't decide to retire.
....Plug Power maybe? We know all about them by now - or should do!
...expected in SP if JV is not announced very soon - which I don't expect. So the plan is to keep a bit of cash in reserve and top these up lower down if possible. Never easy to ink in terms for JV. Legal boffins love to haggle and we all know how soon the Xmas/New Year booze up starts! Be surprised if JV finalised before mid-Jan 24 when our SP might be 2.5 to 3p again!
