utterly unsatisfactory, .. Fortitude, after all this time, and you know it. Without an update at the very least, we can only make assumptions and they will do nothing for the SP. Since the co knows this too - and still keep shtum, it does not look good. I am still in here, unfortunately, like most others, but no-one will look a gift horse in the mouth IF this ever turns into said gift horse!

...now. If this co can't make enough to at least roll over its debts (due next year) it should be amenable to a bid from over the pond. Shake up overdue!

Friday well after hours looks to me like it could easily have been an early 'buy'. If it was a sell, it would have moved the SP much more.

I don't see a crash, denby69. There is already volatility and inflation is responsible for that and to some extent already a given.
Obviously, you are entitled to your opinion but what is going to cause the crash? It might be the result of another health crisis starting in this Autumn, I suppose. I hope not, but GSK could easily be a beneficiary if that occurs!

was shown last as £1.60 per share after all the recent downsizing. Our current SP is a heck of a big discount to that and it is a reasonable assumption that it should grow from that new base. Looks to be a great buy right now. Shame I am so underwater and no loose cash to invest. Please if you are interested do the research yourself. It is all out there.

Don't these two have at least one Director on both Boards? Something is not quite right. Need to be reported and the terms be publicised to ensure that there has been fairness to all, including all shareholders. I am beginning to suspect that our SP may be a reflection of benefit not going to us.

My Fidelity Platform has shown an interim rport for 2010! Guess what? It was a shell co then and Barry's report said more or less the same as it did last year although of course no mention then of chitin. So I ask myself with directors getting no actual salaries, how long will the LSE allow RGP to remain a shell before the threat to cancel its quote? Barry is nothing if not an experienced performer and must be well aware. Roger T is now on the Board (at least nominally). He must be there for a good reason. I only have a little spare cash in my ISA but am flirting with the idea of tucking a few more of these in.

My first week of holding these! Iknow the RNS revealed only OK results but they were not BAD and did not deserve punishment like -2%. The ratioale for holding these is still there but for now there is disappointment.

I sniffed a reverse bid here ages ago. Looks like may now happen. RT is an old fella and this may well be a clever way of passing on much of his (not necessarily Kosher) wealth minimising tax!

everyone for your interesting replies. With the whole market down today and GSK continuing to make progress I have to agree that there is a bit of momentum building for a bid for part. If it comes, that would be interesting and profitable. If not.....
