I trust your holiday was amazing, the Mrs got married in Jamaica to her ex many years ago, my first marriage was in Barbados, lovely place and people… I love the Caribbean:)

We tried cape Verdi, the beaches were nice but the interior was like Mars… worth a try though…

We both married “this time around” in a registry office and took the family out for dinner after, we are still waiting to go on holiday ever since, fingers crossed for may?

Yes we are both ok, ta, it wasn’t covid :) though she is still feeling a little rough….

From sal to Val, it’s always painful to watch the share price retrace like this, and have to put up with the gloaters and village idiots that always frequent the board when there is volatility…

Nothing goes up in a straight line….

Perhaps with the largest gold reserves, the US could re-value the price gold, then back the dollar with it…. Go back to the gold standard? Debt gone!… it would make a lovely gold price:)

The dollar is a joke and it’s the world reserve currency, 40% + of all dollars printed since the start of the pandemic, inflation was inevitable, IMO

MM’s have taken this down after “reading” the RNS and picking up negative sentiment, folk have panic sold, and many more folk have picked up cheaper shares, IMO

£822 sold vs over 1 million bought…. I know it’s not a 100% accurate guide but shows it was not a massive sell off…

Just noticed…far more buys than sells today :)

I knew the market was not going to react well as soon as I read the RNS, from 7.50 today I was without internet until I returned home this evening, very frustrating indeed…

Personally, my main concern is we appear to be dealing with a company who don’t have a pot to go in? …Will they get the funds? If not what then?

However throwing ones toys out of the Pram will get us nowhere…

Does anyone have “qualified/smart” positive suggestions on the best way forward… are we best off waiting? Do we go down the route of finding funds ourselves? or look for a better deal elsewhere?

I too was around a very similar percentage loss, luckily it was only on a small sum, so after Suzy took over i averaged down, I was lucky to buy a fair few at around 7.5p…

I recently purchased more at 53p, so that shows my confidence in Suzy…

This has to be treated as a totally different investment now, IMO…

Val is bitter sweet, it’s so cheap compared to peers and many would agree we are worth around double our current market cap (as we stand right now), with a deal “more” obviously… however many are bitter about the passed and, IMO “that has tainted us” ..

That said, Val offers an excellent opportunity, IMO, my first medium target is £2.36 my long term (5 year target) is £4.72…

Folk may scoff, however I don’t care and I don’t trade, I have held at 3p up to 66 odd p then down to 18p then back up to 65p then down to 38p today…

This has 12 bagged in 18 ish months and we have had every insult on the way…

I’m confident…

I think a sales job will be a far easier one once Val is a “viable” company with money coming in…

We are all the greedy gamblers really, don’t you think?…. the institutional investors need more stable returns, hopefully that stability is just around the corner ?

“IF” there is a no vote to the fundraise, then the board would have to “immediately” re-evaluate it’s strategy and outlook…

So perhaps they could lower there costs and start looking at charging for “our” products, and not s#aft us share holders… without the use of lube..

In my opinion a “small” fundraise from us, coupled with the BOD cutting costs, and our very wealthy customers actually paying a fair rate, as they stand to save billions in the long run…

It’s all about give and take IMO…. And not all take…

This mess needs sorting out, and only one man to blame, does he have the resolve to sort the problem out?

The wife and I are just about to leave to go and get PCR tested, the Mrs was up most of the night coughing and she has a nasty cold, I just have a very mild sore throat…however I have been self medicating. ;)

I know a fair few that have covid ATM, it’s all around us, so we thought it best to get a proper test done…

We have done a few lateral flow tests and they have been negative, however my youngest has found out she has covid via a PCR test after several negative lateral flow tests??
