Let’s be honest it’s boring here waiting atm, so I thought I would share a minor triumph with you all….

My son (25 years old) has just started his investment journey… unfortunately not shares in val :(

BUT..He has started to wake up to the fact that grafting for a living is not the only way of making money…

Proud day for me…. He is also starting to go bald :-))))) lol

Inflation creates a transfer of wealth form lender to the debtor…. Providing the debtor FIXES their interest rate lower than the rate of inflation…

Inflation in the uk is supposed to be 5.4% (the last time I looked) however in truth at around 15%…

One should make sure one fixes ones repayment term, for as long as possible and as cheap as possible and repay what one owes before the loan term is up…

Fix low - fix low - fix low - fix low…. We are headed for a 5#1t storm, IMO

Just managed to get my son to remortgage his house on a cheap 5year fixed rate, staying on the variable could have been financial suicide IMO….

Hopefully his debt will be eroded away, just like out governments…

I call ‘inflation’ a stealth tax…

One of the nurses today was an “angel” to my mate and i, she actually offered us to share her lunch with us….. we as gentlemen declined, but what a lovely gesture…

We are all surrounded buy “unassuming angels”…. Yet often rub shoulders (so to speak) with undesirables :(

I think jimbren has just summed it up, the company has been sold to a new investor at a knock down price… IMO

I am pretty gutted as I believe this company has the potential to be “going places” however all my trust has gone….

I’m still licking my wounds if I am honest:(

I listen to radio 4 on my drive to and from work most days, I don’t really know why I listen to “bias radio” but I do, and have done for a few years…

Russia want to invade the Ukrainian, people are still dying of covid, inflation is rampant, we have an economy to rebuild, and all the fookin BBC can BANG the fook on about, is a fookin work’s party…

I did 40 mph in a 30 tonight….. hang me!

There is an “impartial” investigation going on…. Wait for the fookin findings BBC…

Even a murderer is entitled to a trial….. life isn’t fair, and that’s why the unpopular kid gets picked last for the school football team…. and yes I was that kid ( I suppose the gammy leg and the wheelchair didn’t help)
