Hello again, sain. Funny you should mention that jolly old sum (£500m). It's just the amount I was hearing HMSO are about to raise in a Rights issue. I am reluctant to average down again at this SP for that very reason! Well, if they are, they had better extractum digitum or they will just have to issue a load more to raise the cash. Word is also vaguely out there that Debenhams are making life awkward for HMSO's plan to bring in Next. Ho hum!!! Looks like the Board might actually have some serious work to do.

'You bet!' is accurate, eccles04. The polite verbage for this is 'overweight' a particular share in your portfolio. There is nothing wrong with this so ling as you realise there is increased risk. You just have to factor into your thinking that it may not always work! I am overweight LGEN (fine) 3IN (fine) and HMSO (????).

.... and while many of the actual numbers reflect the fact that this is a microcap (which we all knew), it is growing and Corvid 19 is bringing it much publicity as well as sales and repeat income. I am persuaded that if I were a much larger competitor, and there is one, I would be only too pleased to pounce. They seem to be efficient too, so if they dive back some more, I shall be thinking about topping up.
My other half died of sepsis in 2015. If the hospital had one of LID's monitors, and used it, she might still be here. Sepsis is a growing cause of death. So this has uses other than Corvid 19.

After reading posts, I took off the Limit Buy I only added ten minutes ago. Why buy more at 40p when it is a reasonable bet they could have a Rescue Rights at much less? If they are, they had better get on with it before the premium vanishes further!

HMSO would have had legal advice on the deal and, hopefully a company search on the acquiring entity. In that case, unless they took the risk themselves (possible if desperate!) they have a case against their own solicitors. At current SP, the market is valuing the entire monolith at nuppence. If it can survive the lockdown, at least until major shops allowed to open, then it looks cheap. Trouble is no-one knows when that will be. But if HMSO cannot survive, there's not much hope for big owners of shop properties. It could be a close run thing!

...don't vest for some years, so are just a long;term bonus. Not unusual, even for a CFO. Still seems to be more sales than buys.
