I know all the arguments for such an action, but it devalues interests of us small shareholders by denying us the opportunity to participate and adding free Warrants to this offering is just rubbing our noses into it! Same day I got wind of a similar trick on another of my holdings, PAT. Grinding of teeth!!

No money around, so this and NCCL both did minimum publicity for a 'quiet' Placing - with Warrants!
I am not too unhappy about this because it shows confidence and anyway, I have a free carry here now. I am less happy with NCCL, where I might have liked to participate. This is a loophole in the AIM Rules which needs to be looked at.
Plenty of holders much bigger than I am have reason to feel aggrieved.

Losing a shed load but not stupid enough to average down any more now!....and I don't reckon it will be a Rights. If it is, they have left it too late and it will have to be on 'Rescue' terms.

Isn't this the ideal climate for cos like SQZ with plenty of cash to pick off others with tested assets still in the ground and very little cash? If/when gas and oil prices rise, these cos will be much more expensive. Right now they should fall in your lap.

....a few others are tickling this now as there are less than 6mths to the Cali vote on gambling. SP seems to be bobbing a bit.

Perhaps a shorter cashing the gain?

These two I believe (after a bit of ferreting online) are partof alarge and affluent family from North Dorset and Paul has experience as a hedge fund manager at Rubicon.They also have an interest in another LL P of their own. They are I believe now building a postion here- and why not. Please do your own research.

Bought in today. The figures and latest brokers view (target 190p) are compelling, even if they feel constrained to withhold the dividend. Assets worth far far in excess of SP. Too good to miss,although this rotten market may go lower in the short term.

Board might be talking to banks about giving them more headroom (say another £300M) before they break lending covenants and if this can be agreed and RNS'd, share price should move up into c60s; then they can make a Rights issue at the better price to raise the balance. If this is on the cards, buying more in the 40s would be a smart move but still a gamble.
