Ron Philbeam left because of age and probably work pressure at age 76. Hey he still retains 2.5m shares so can't be that bad!
Brilliant presentation so far. What a gem!
Nigel, he hasn't offloaded his entire holding. He still has 2.5m left. Philly might just have gotten petulant when he discovered Lony was being brought on board. Lony ha a track record that Phily probably couldn't have matched and PG would have had his reasons. I understand your thinking which is PG had oil or gas shows and on that basis decided to string everyone along till he goes for a second well and makes a discovery. This might not be accurate as he has classified this first well as a discovery which would later be tested. Nigel, I doubt he would dare deceive folks like you are suggesting as that no doubt is a jail going offence.
The Philbeam issue no doubt would have had folks concerned, however PG has cleared that with his recent presentation imho. Philbeam no doubt has issues with PG. Had the issues been so material ,I would have expected him to sell all his shares and not leave anything behind. 2.5m shares in the company is still a material amount for god's sake.
Guys, Philbeam's actions ie selling shares was a tad unhelpful. The thing there is that even though he had a disagreement with Paul(my suspicion) he still kept 2.5m shares which in my opinion meant things aren't as bad as he made us think. His action shook a lot of folks into thinking that some hanky panky might have been going on. Wahab said gas shows and PG said discovery now which to believe? PG I guess as Wahab was only expressing an opinion while PG's comments would most likely have repercussions if he was found to have deceived shareholders.
400SQKM is a bit huge no doubt and usually when Geo folks set about doing this sort of thing, it's because there is an element of certainty that a reasonable amount of resource does exist in the area under consideration.
Were there a leak related to Ireland, the gap up would be much larger!
Renewables mio left culo!
Actually it is the whole of the CO2 in T&T, smart of Paul to have negotiated that!
Man that would be gr8!

Supplying non fracked Moroccan gas to Ireland is a possibility here, But then why do that if gas pays more money in Morocco than anywhere else or is it a case of LNG being more lucrative than NG?
He said'' while licences for gas exploration would continue''. I guess that helps us in no small way or am I misinterpreting things?
Hi GRH,
Could Guercif be our own Ruvuma? Is it that big?
The value of the resource assuming it's say $10b. We owe outrider $40m currently . We have so far used $500m to prove up the $10b . His $40m should be worth about 8% of the company if done on a capital share basis. However he would want to wipe us out based on what his investment was valued at, up to Zaza and SN to see how much they can fight for in terme of what equity holders which also include them can get for us!
A better and more complete version of the story!

Nothing has changed. Paul has only decided not to waste money!
It is supposed to be more than 1tcf if I remember correctly!
Hi Spectre,
