Shaunyy91,let's say there's a dividend of 50p/ share your holding equates to 206k which means capital gains tax is levied, but to bed and ISA you may have to be out of the market for a while for 20k worth of shares depending on your broker. I have mine,my wife's and sons so will stage the process.Hope to move across about 260+k shares if the opportunity arises. AIMO and not investment advise.
Quite a few headwinds for markets this week. EUA still a great place to remain invested as current market cap is a fraction of true worth. I think there is now a reasonable chance there will be one last opportunity to bed and Isa one's holding. Like me anyone still working is now paying huge taxes for the privilege so any way to reduce tax should be taken. Personally I wish the taxman would take some money off all those sitting on huge assets.Probably not popular with the ruling classes and the elites. I don't suppose Mr.sunak going to want to tax himself!! AIMO and roll on the next RNS.
Good morning all. It seems some are getting quite frustrated and downhearted at the timescale of the sale. I obviously have some sympathy with this emotion but being a holder now for 12+years, I've witnessed the protracted time that mining applications and license transfers take. For me I feel the deal is just waiting for the paperwork to be signed off.Now that could be very soon or a couple of months. The sale can only happen once so it has to be executed in the most advantageous way. Finally I think those that stay the distance will be extremely thankful. AIMO .
Happy to keep waiting. One fine day the deal will be announced. The fundamentals are not only strong but improving. On a positive note we are about 6% up on a 6 month chart. Like many I see this time as an opportunity to accumulate, and in a few short weeks looking forward to doing a few bed and ISAs. Thoughts go out to those having tough times ATB Nick.
Heard today on 5live there's a job lot of commemorative plates available. Thought it would be fitting to get some for the BOD after deal announced. The inscription is Platinum Jubberly. Rather apt!!.
Dmitry stated in Proactive interview that in time more licences would be applied for. Today more evidence that strategy is being executed. What a solid start to February. The potential just keeps growing. This is still the most exciting share on AIM. GLA.
Just looked,PGMs up,Nickel up,Dow up. My hopes up for a really good day. One day soon, all shareholders will be jubilent. Happy Chinese New Year, good week to drop some epic news . AIMO and GLA.
Very happy to have added 45k shares today. PGM prices have been moving upwards for some time, which is encouraging. I feel an RNS will come sometime in February so every reason to remain optimistic. I think when we see the complex nature of the deal this will explain the prolonged time for the asset sale. AIMO. Good night and roll on February.
I didn't know there were politics graduates posting. I think you'll find there's a meeting happening next week to discuss a stability pact. I think a resolution will soon be found, but this all has little to no bearing on a mining deal up near the Finnish border. So look elsewhere to spread fear and doubt.
My 45800 buy is showing as a sell. There's no excuse in this day and age for this almost constant mis reporting. This dealing game needs some industrial strength bleach!!!.
Thought after Fridays close we would have a manufactured drop,so maxed out sons ISA. Have a good feeling about this week. Now done final top up. If given the chance next deal is a few Bed and ISAs. GLA as we patiently wait for the next piece of good news.AIMO.
I think Amur is in a very remote unloved location with little infrastructure,so a firesale may happen, but at low buyout cost. AIMO,but no comparison with Eurasia's superior business advantages.
Just placed a biggish buy order for tomorrow, will be interesting to see where the MMs want to go with the price. Now both bases covered. Rise then happy, drop for a bit then happy to add and hold. Roll on next week. GLA.
Looking forward to some progress this week in either RNS news or SP action. Glad to see the back of January and expecting great times as we move from my year of the Ox to the year of the Tiger. Not sure but I think Boris was born in the year of the Tw#t. Great sunny day here in Chelmsford. ATB Nick.
Bit of a rubbish week.To be honest I always thought January was likely to be a low impact month. Personally I'm really excited to see what the next couple of weeks brings.Everything points to a deal happening soonish,so I'll continue to remain upbeat. Happy weekend to all.
Quite possible a late buyer or consortium has outbid previous buyer. This would explain timelines becoming extended. Easy to remain upbeat as BOD and others are finalizing deal. So far all recent RNS announcements have been super positive but not as detailed as some would like. I seriously look forward to news in the coming month. GLA and let's see what tomorrow brings.
