Nobody yet has managed to live forever,I don't think Putin going to be the first.
For me I think the Ukrainians would be best served by giving some ground in the talks in the sure knowledge that the madman will soon be gone.
When the reality of the economic damage truly comes home in a few months I think Putin will be gone and a more credible President instated.Over time a better relationship will be able to be developed between Russia and all its neighbours.
Well that my hope, otherwise they will start to look like North Korea and be under the heel of China and surely nobody wants that.

I can't see China giving any war help to Russia ,it's battling some bad news on its own economy.A trade war would be really bad all round.
More likely China will be a major buyer of all Russian commodities and help it circumvent the remaining sanctions after the end to hostilities.
China will seize the opportunity to both get a steady,good value access to all assets and secure an advantage over its economic rivals.
A possible stalemate in the war now means an end is far more attainable,IMO.

Slightly off topic,just looked at the recent drop in hang seng.
Looks also like China facing headwinds.
Most economies facing problems,whether it's inflation,high debt ,slow or no growth and a resurgence of covid in the far east.
A quick end to this major war is urgently needed to help stabilize a weak global economic situation.
Today I put 300 litres of diesel in my truck,the bill was £518, that's crazy.Big inflation getting baked in unfortunately.Good to see oil price coming down this week.

If I understand it correctly 60% of Eurasia's assets are down to Nickel.
Still problems with Nickel supply and price is sort of unknown.But one thing is for sure when the LME in regards to Nickel finally opens it looks pretty nailed on the metal price is going to remain very robust.
Securing assets now for big users and miners
alike must now be an urgent priority.

For those that want to condemn every Russian alive now and ever born,spare a thought for those Russians now in prison for up to 15 years who understood the risks and still protested .

It seems to me impossible to announce a sale deal in current crisis.
I would like to see an RNS next week with good news on JORC or licenses or both and committement to proceed with strategy.
Then a couple of days later a suspension while deal concluded.
Obviously return from suspension is triggered by need for vote on sale of assets.
This gives chance for SP stability or rise in the short term and gives those who stay the distance a great outcome.
