Hi,I said earlier in the week I'd be happy if the SP held 5p for the weekend, perhaps it won't.

At present Putin seems unwilling to end the invasion ,more economic pressure needed .

Next year things will come good.

Good morning all.

To my mind it seems Ukraine is sincere in wanting a peace deal with reasonable terms but the invaders still want all the spoils.

It's obviously not possible to allow Putin to dictate all the terms.

Ukraine needs to be fully supported,oil sanctions on Russia fully imposed and probably Trump should indicate a willingness to supply Tomahawk missiles.

Putin still playing for time,this needs to stop.

This is a time to show courage.

When peace comes the sale may follow within 6 months if all goes well.

Still waiting and happy to hold.

Morning all

We've had a good run so far this week,I will more than happy to stay above 5p for the weekend.

I am yet to be convinced the peace plan will prove successful,but am more optimistic for this effort than all the previous ones.

As time goes on the likelihood of war ending definitely increases,so perhaps soon.

Often the SP would go up over a penny in the day.

On current share price that's quite a percentage.

Would love to see it hold over 6p for the weekend.

Not long to see what the budget has in store.

My main wish is they don't add more tax to diesel.

Read yesterday on oil.com that Russia oil and gas revenue down 35% this November compared with last.

Lots of financial pain to be felt,oh dear ,wars are so expensive !!.

Peace getting more critical for all sides.

Personally I'm a bit surprised but it does seem some real progress is being made .

The US gaslighting the defenders of Ukraine.

The world desperately needs a US president with an honourable set of morals.

Trump is like many others of privilege,the more you know about them the more odious they seem.

Although I would dearly love this war, and all others to end,the current plan as it stands is totally unrealistic.

Hopefully some good can come out of this mess.

I can't get too excited about imminent peace talks.

I think the Russian economy is starting to fracture and break.

If Ukraine has the determination to fight,then Europe must out spend Putin and obtain a lasting peace plan which includes massive defence capabilities for Ukraine to stop any future attacks.

I think a peace plan maybe another year off.

The pressure has to be increased to damage Putin's fossil fuel earnings.

AIMO ,would love to be more optimistic but remain a skeptic.

I intend to add in ISA and SIPP with dividends and tax credit.

The combination deal looks slightly better for Trig.

The cash payout seems fine and the new entity should be more financially resilient.

Finally joining the FTSE 100 should be beneficial.

Didn't see that happening.

Just had a quick read of RNS ,all sounds extremely positive.

Let's see what the market thinks

I will hold and let the storm pass.

I do think the world economy is in a pretty poor shape,but power is very much in need.

Renewables will in time recover.

As the economy hits hard times ,interest should reduce,allowing for a moderate improvment in share price outlook.

Keep calm and carry on reinvesting the dividends.

Drop seems excessive, obviously some expected as dividend paid out.

Will probably add when dividend gets received.

Hopefully the budget may be positive for UK stock market.

If this share traded in the US the SP would most likely be over 100p.

I bought recently on 2 occasions, average is at 60p.

I totally understand the frustration and disappointment from LTHs.

Obviously for sometime the market has downrated the shares,at some point this will come to an end.

In my view the current dividend yield gives a reasonable chance that over time,some profit can be made.

I will reinvest dividend unless future dividend payments are radically reduced.

Looks like this week the total share buy backs will be in excess of one million.

Probably a good use of funds as the dividend payments will get considerably reduced over time.

Hi all,

Good to see an increase in share volume purchased.

The more bought the higher the increase in NAV,and obviously treasury held shares do not receive dividends.

Also good to see RNS stating an increase in NAV.

For me it's a long term hold, planning to use dividends to significantly help with retirement funds.

For now reinvesting dividends and adding when sensible.

Like most investors I'm a bit underwater now.

Will see where the SP settles and decide on averaging down or just holding.

In time I think the dividend will prove rewarding, especially as interest rates continue to moderate.

If the drop continues to somewhere near 74p will most likely add.

The American market could be due a fall as the latest consumer confidence is hitting new lows.

A global stock market correction could be seen in the coming weeks.

Time for investing with caution in my opinion.
