I have funds to invest but only next tax year's ISA so can't add while SP is hammered.

The new dividend policy was always on the cards, probably the only sustainable way forward.

Let's see where the SP goes in a few days time.

While I have plenty of shares , unfortunately not in profit , it's good to see share price rise , but I intend to buy a load more in about a Month.

Another war starts.

I remember Trump saying he didn't want the US getting involved in foreign wars.

He keeps saying how the US has the most powerful weapons,he seems set on using them again.

He loves his fighting talk,what a maniac, I'm not sure where this ends.

So his cronies can do get rich deals.

Also possible Putin has some dirt on Trump.

TBH I think it would be better if the US got out of the way Putin had to deal with Europe and Ukraine, especially as Europe is now doing a lot of the funding.

Unfortunately Putin still thinks Trump will help him conquer Ukraine.

These two people deserve to be locked up IMO.

I'm expecting a break through in peace talks in about 6 months after the main fighting season.

Been reading today how the Russian economy is starting to hit the buffers.

One major concern is the reduced output of their mature oilfields.

Putin likes to project power and control but I'll be surprised if he can maintain his corrupt leadership over the coming 18 months.

Russia is slowly imploding,the kill zone that Ukraine have developed is largely working.

More support from Europe,Japan , Australia and others will keep Ukraine able to withstand Russian attacks.

Putin has destroyed Russia's place in the world,the country is becoming friendless and will ultimately end up a broken and failed state unless the Kremlin changes course.

Many good people of Russia are now paying a high price for having a madman in charge.

My thoughts are mainly with Ukrainians and all good people being oppressed everywhere.

It's a crying shame we live in such an unjust world.

From what I've read recently,small and medium sized Russian banks will start failing in the next few months then in time a full economic crisis follows.

Currently many workers are not being paid and also there is a rapid printing of cash as money starts to run out.

You are so wrong,only recently has Zelensky seemed more confident of Ukraine's ability to defend itself.

Ukraine has in the few weeks inflicted lots of damage to Russia's Navy,Air force,Army and shadow fleet.

Also drone factory,Missile factory and special fuel storage depot been destroyed.

Putin's incompetent strategy and poor Generals have made a hash of their once military advantage.

This year Europe is providing meaningful battle assets to keep Russia unable to make any worthwhile advance.

Let's see what happens when Putin has to have conscription for young men from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

I can't see much common ground to reach a peace settlement.

Both US and Russia finally realising Ukraine cannot and will not be sidelined and humiliated.

Putin's in tray of problems is getting ever more full.

The economic, political and internal security problems are now reaching breaking point.

It could be argued now that Russia needs the war to stop as much as Ukraine.

I believe Putin will want to try for one more big Summer offensive,when this fails the war criminal will be deposed.

Almost written this year off in terms of a peace settlement but the outlook into 2027 looks definitely better.

Got to remain positive, good news will come as sure as night follows day.

Ukrainian resolve to withstand Russian missiles continues.

Russian advance on frontline is pretty non existant.

European ability to support Ukraine is radically improving.

Lots of problems in Russia are degrading it's chances of achieving its war aims.

The Kremlin will have to call time on Putin in the coming months.

Peace talks are still about Russia with US help being rewarded for invading Ukraine.

No deal must be better for Ukraine rather than a stitch up.

A just peace deal would be fantastic,but I can't see it coming just yet.

Good news about the prisoner swap, probably better for the Ukrainians.

I suspect Putin will throw his returnees back in the meat grinder before the end of the month.

I read today how Sweden is about to provide some rather lethal missiles and later fighter jets.

I think this year will see a big ramp up in battle equipment from many European countries.

Putin's power is ebbing away, he's a dead man walking.He now has economic,internal and external problems.

It will be very interesting to see how this tyrant gets what he deserves.

In a few short months the companies prospects will radically improve,IMO.

I'm afraid Putin is like a lot of other creeps I'm thinking Epstein,Andrew,Mandleson,Trump plus others,the more you know about them the more putrid they are.

Ukraine need to be supported to thank them for the amazing job they are doing degrading Russia's war machine.

I think a few people on this chat board need a history lesson.When the Russian soldiers liberated the territory on the way to Berlin in WWII,there was a hardly a women or girl they hadn't raped on the way.

Now I've been to Moscow back in1989,I found the city and it's people wonderful.

But now you have to factor in that the country has been captured by a load of criminals headed by a terrorist.

I feel optimistic things will get better ,but should keep in mind Putin needs wars to instill fear within and without.

The talks are rather pointless.

Witkoff has been played by Russian money men.Still believes there are fantastic US deals to be made,he is so naive it beggars belief.

Peace unlikely any time soon as I believe Trump has most likely made assurances to Putin in Alaska that he will help get huge territorial gains from zelenski.

The war will continue until this strategy is altered.

Meanwhile Ukraine is fighting heroically and will most likely keep the invaders at bay.

Unfortunately for Eurasia mining the wait for asset sale will be impossible for a while yet but I remain optimistic that in time a deal will happen.

I'll predict war to finish in around 8 months when the summer fighting months conclude with a frozen front line.

I feel the war has reached a sort of technical stalemate where both sides can inflict huge military,civilian and economic damage to each other.

As Russian economy becomes more problematic an end to hostilities will come,but could be a few more months yet.

It's definitely the beginning of the end.
