It's very likely at least one or more buyers, possibly a consortium have been keen to buy various assets for some time.
In yesterday's RNS the certainty of a sale was down graded to possible.
This is not only honest of Eurasia's BOD but states clearly that a low ball offer will not be acceptable.
I'm sure the potential buyers are scrutinizing the RNS as much as us investors.
We don't want a fire sale,we want a fair sale price.
Personally I would be happy to see a JV with the new partner paying a large upfront fee to be paid out as a dividend equivalent to say 15+ p/share.
This way any forward risk is shared and all parties can progress to mining.
Probably wishful thinking but perhaps could be made to work for MT.

Good morning all,not the best with technology, can't do the link,but read earlier kitco forecast a 19% demand increase in platinum and just a 2% increase in supply leading to a 303koz deficit.
It's no surprise high prices are being forecast,this will fund the packaging and selling parts of the business.
All seems in order,will wait for the next progress update.

I've just reread the RNS after a long work day.
Eurasia has made great progress despite the current hostilities.
The comments from the CEO are very upbeat and give great confidence in Eurasia's ability to execute their strategy.
Obviously the asset sale is still a work in progress but the company have options available to maximize shareholder value.
Plenty of reasons to remain patient and optimistic.

The RNS today is very encouraging and just the tonic all shareholders wanted.
I think the SP will make good progress from here as the outlook improves.

As Mac has stated some questions remain but overall satisfied.

First bought in October 09,so definitely a LTH.
I saw great potential then and still see a great asset sale.
As yet no particular RNS deadlines have been missed.
We may or may not get news soon.
I expect all is progressing well re the DFS.
Also very possible the Nomad has advised to issue minimal RNS.
Puts in mind of when I was a lad ,at my dad's business we had a lovely guy called Horace who was about 5 foot nothing,he was a batman to 2 officers who got killed by not keeping their heads down in WW1.

Hoping my RNS prediction for tomorrow comes home.There can't be many more working days this year for news.
Of course it's always possible we'll be kept waiting longer, but feel there must be some significant milestone reached.
Come on Eurasia !!

Metal prices are staying higher for longer.
The assets for sale are still very desirable and no low ball offers should be entertained.
The lack of any negative news means all is progressing as in last RNS.
The size of the mining area would be perfect for a consortium to buy, especially as a hedge against increasing metal prices.
Every reason to remain calm and patient.

I think the positive LTHs like us really get up the nose of the doom crew.
Like you I believe the business case for mine sale and development are compelling.
It's going to be exciting to see the outcome of the sale.
The long history of the company gives confidence in their ability to overcome all manner of difficulties.
Lots of newer investors do not appreciate the hard journey made by Eurasia.

Sorry I don't buy all the recent doom.
In the light of no recent news people feel some urge to push their own opinions.
News may come this month,I think possibly quite soon.
I can't help but wonder why some who clearly feel animosity towards the company have to keep banging on about it.
You've made your point ,please just sell and leave,or be honest and say you are trying to buy in lower.
I shall wait for the BOD to communicate and ignore the shysters.

Personally I feel grateful for many positive posts about Eurasia.
Without a regular dose of positivity many here may just get down hearted and sell.
The private investor often gives up holding when the going gets tough.
To me it seems there are plenty of buyers at this price point,so still many see good value.
It seems the derampers have been doom bombing this share more as we get nearer to DFS completion.
The need for Eurasia's assets to be mined are compelling.
The unknown is who and when the asset sale will happen.
Now some like me find the waiting relatively straight forward whereas others have been extremely frustrated for a long time.
The war has obviously made the mechanics and deal completion more complex.
I personally think Putin is bluffing about extended timescale for continuation of war.
In a few months the game will be up and his land grab will fail.Got home to see extra time and pens.

It's fair to say most on here including myself have failed to pin point when milestones have been reached.
I feel our resident derampers have used this to emboldened their job of spreading fear and doubt.
So what if the DFS and deal has been somewhat protracted , it's the end destination that's important.
As an investor I can continue to wait,if you're a trader the timelines are quite different.
If you have lost faith in the BOD ,best to sell and leave the BB, that's what I'd do.

I've just read a few postings and see the FUD crew are still active,I wonder who their paymaster is?.
It's good to see the price of Platinum is mainly staying above 1000$/oz as I noted a few weeks ago.
It's predicted to be in deficit in the coming year.
