Good morning,Man group doing well again today.
Bought shares in Thrl this morning. It's dropped a lot over the last few months and gives a good dividend.Must bounce soon, well that's the hope.

Looking at current deal price I accidentally sold at 137.5p,rebought later at 136.8p but lost £10 on dealing costs.

Like most I'm hoping we get some news this week.
Regarding the wider market I took the plunge and bought into a FTSE 250 company just at the close on Friday.
It's always difficult to get the timing right, just have to wait and see.

I agree a discount will applied for asset sale.
I have stated 90p a share some while ago now,still feel 65p is likely.
Looks like most stock markets are having a bad end to a bad week.I think the FTSE got a bit ahead of itself.l still see lots of downside for the remainder of March.

Your proposition that institutional Investors are not buying Eurasia is not because they don't see huge value, it's Russia washing.
They can't be seen to be holding Russian assets, it's really that simple.
Fortunately Eurasia can sit out the current political problems but I think the sale deal is most likely imminent.
Russia is now becoming desperate for any inward investment and a new Chinese owner would be fantastic for the whole kola peninsula area development.
Let's see what happens next, plenty to look forward to.

I was having sleepless nights worrying about how the top 1% were going to manage in these tough economic times.
Well I suppose looking on the bright side,I have a good part of my holding in my pension,so a big buyout won't bring with it an unwanted tax bill.

For a few days they have been promoting Glencore,well it's now 13% down in a week.
Their advice is often flakey in my opinion.

We live in strange times.
Just looked at FTSE,if you had invested 5 years ago from now you would be 4.4% up,obviously not including dividends.
I think the fall has a little further to go perhaps down to 7100ish.
