Not sure about smart, but 1.21p full bail-out price seems to have been good in retrospect. Now if the herd could just wander off please and let this settle back to something more like fair value I might consider coming back in. I was rather hoping for a long-term holding here to see how this plays out, but not at this entry price.

Sorry to but in J, but what are you and nims arguing about? You seem negative about EVO at this current SP (I'd concur btw), and nims has just sold out £30k (which implies he also thinks it's going down). What are you arguing about, you both seem to be saying/doing the same thing?

174m shares in circulation, yesterday there were over 180m traded - yikes!

Well there won't be an RNS until after the Board meeting on 12th September. DL needs to be approved as new Chairman and the various capital restructuring and placement details need to be ratified (and possibly modified). It's all on hold until then, I would be you a tenner there won't be a breath of an RNS before then. The it will be either "all motions approved", or a better option with is "all approved but with revised placing details that won't shoot the carp out of existing shareholders" I know DL reads these boards so I hope he's taking the hint - to reiterate the plans, they will double the number of shares in circulation (so that already halves the value of a share) *and* it will be at a 0.12p level. It's hard not to see this falling to just above that level unless there are enough sentiment-driven new investors who can mop up the new shares being flippered into the market by the placees.

The gentle sound of the spike grinding to a halt I guess. It almost feels like a roller coaster that's paused for a moment at the highest point, and everyone is looking over the edge imagining what's coming next :) What DL needs to do ASAP is exploit this re-rate to get more money and less dilution with the upcoming placing ... 12th Sept is the date of the meeting to approve (or change?!?) that. I'm out for now but will be watching this with interest as things emerge.

Hey guys, don't follow me - I'm an investor not a trader. I wouldn't put it past this to double from here over the next couple of days. Or crash to zero. I just know that over my typical multi-year timeframe > 1p is too rich. Completely different rules for day trading and good luck to those of you with the skills to do it (I don't have them so steer well clear).

And especially best wishes to any legacy EVO holders who might now have seen some return on their investment after what seemed like a decent company being taken down the pan. I hope that takes the edge of it somewhat.

OK I'm out - tidy profit but the effect of a placing that will double the shares in circulation and be at 1/10th the current SP is making the hairs on my neck stand up. And in not a good way. I may be wrong - if DL announces that the places have agreed to accept 1/10th the number of shares in return for the same cash then so be it. However, without sight of that this has gone from being "pretty toppy" in the 0.4p zone to "totally bonkers" and is now driven by pure speculation and sentiment. Not my style so good luck to everyone else.

Warrants (or options, which is what he usually awards himself) are worthless if the company fails. First job, make it a success. All the rest will come. And to me that means starting with the biggest warchest I can muster.

The 0.12p placing is subject to shareholder approval - there's a meeting on 12th Sept to finalise and approve it. It's a big placing (doubling shares in circulation if I recall correctly). Do you think for a moment the current EVO shareholders won't look at the current re-rating of the SP and be very vocal in demanding a change in the suggested terms of the placing? I know I would. And the other person who I imagine would want to change the terms is DL himself. How could now get less dilution for more cash to deploy, what's not to like about that! Let's see how the SP settles but I would suspect there are some very frantic telephone calls about to be made....

I'm making no short term predictions at all! At this stage it's about sentiment, all bets are off. (Or on, since it's a punt/gamble) Tomorrow it could be up, down or the same. Be fun to watch.

Yup. You're buying potential. The funds raised will be invested in some resource shares to comply with aim rules. Those are red herrings. The DL then will fundraise (YAGM equity swap or placing). And do something with it. A share in Evo makes you part owner of the result of that. How do you value that? 100 people will have 100 answers.

Not going to disagree with you on that atrb. To me the question is whether 0.15p has the right risk/reward given what we know about track records, (lack of) information etc.

DL joined Oct in June this year and is still there. No sign he's abandoned it (but note this is Strang's baby anyway). Why you think DL has abandoned Oct? Are you confusing it with PLMO (which he has dumped)?

Atrb - have I missed something at OCT? I thought DL was still there as a NED?
