tradedesk: Fully agree. What PM need is a potent JV-partner (such as Petro China) or any other confirmed partnership with a potent partner. Any other news will have little or no effect. Extracting oil however, will have an effect; but it looks like PM want to postpone that until mid next year (bummers!).

This is just one of those reasons the market doesn't trust matd. Good news has hardly an effect and doesn't last long with matd. What matd need to do is finally extract the oil and generate revenues.
Until then I'm afraid the market will consider matd to be a high risk oil exploration company; and exactly that is why I've been saying - time and again - PM have got to extract oil and generate revenues asap!

This should be the top priority in case anybody is interested in the SP developement.

How about £2.1 in 2010/2011? Did anyone ever make the CEO or the BoD accountable for the misinformation (oil find) which led to the astronomic SP rise (and fall) in 2010/2011? PM informed the public they had found oil and a few days later they admitted it was just muddy water. So how does any investor feel after buying in @£2 based on that information?

Sorry b/p: I must agree with StanAccy. To me it looks like you have't yet realized where you are investing; in particular you've misunderstood how to calculate/deal with/accept risk on AIM.
Don't believe venting frustration on this BB will get you anywhere.

StanAccy: There are people on this board who feel competent to judge the BoD's qualifications - I often wonder why that is so. It appears those posters are making the BoD accountable for the SP development just because it's not skyrocketing. Well tough luck and welcome to reality. If you want to make money with matd you'll have to be patient. But it will happen. If you're in for a quick buck: Get lost.

Total Sold volume: 0.957 million shares
Total Bought volume: 0.297 million shares

This is clearly wrong – and not for the first time!!! Adding up the blues vs. the reds gives you a completely different number.

buyers would lose any money buying at these ridiculous share prices. But then again I am no prophet - not even a "badprophet".

I'm sure the MMs wouldn't call it "manipulation". They would call it
"nudging the market in a direction which addresses our (MM) interests best". In other words "manipulation".

There are some posters on this BB which want to make us believe it's the trading software which makes the calls (buy /
sell / unknown). Sorry, I just don't believe that artificial intelligence is behind this - and believe me: I am not a conspirator. Let's be clear on one thing: There's a lot of money to be made (by the MMs). Why would they leave it up to a computer program to call the shots? No bloody way.

As said recently: If the SP loses more ground I will be one of those who will add more to my holding big time.
