petertee - you're point on; however, if you look at the selling behaviour lately a lot of share holders don't seem to be interested in waiting for the results until end of July. What a shame - but then again: AIM is what it is.

Sorry Manro - PM's world is not a world according to Manro. Mike Buck is one of - and probably - the most important guys in this company. I believe we should be glad he's on board. He's got his own communication style - which many of us may not like - but it is how it is. So either we keep complaining, do something about it or just accept reality. Take your pick.

Agree moveonup - the drop at this time is due to the impatience of desperate sellers and the potential buyers' hope for an even better entry before spud news drops. Based on the low volume you can clearly see that potential buyers are waiting on the sidelines in expectation of a clear cut drilling schedule. Only then will they decide whether to wait for another few weeks or join in. Bottom line is: Yes, PM must communicate a spud date. Until then, we will see low volumes and a sp which - at least substantially - will hardly go in any direction.
Just my opinion.

to sell 1.5m shares "en bloc". On the other hand it's probably the MMs who are desperate to accept that kind of sell @5.05p because they anticipate what's coming. Just as "blissful" already hinted: There just may be something in the brewing here.

Beware of next week and beware of the next RNS announcing the spud date!

Mike31: I pitty you! There are plenty of PM investors who've been here since 2010 - I never heard any of them complaining. If being a LTH is too tough for you then you may want to join the short term investor club. Good luck at that! And stop whining for x-sake!

AIM is a risk market - what else is new?

What every investor knows:
- PM is an oil explorer and have not hit the black stuff (yet).
- PM will not have to share with any partner (100% ownership) = extremely high potential.
- The upcoming simultaneous drills are adjacent to producing oil fields and therefore the high COS.
- The share volume has (only) doubled or tripled since 2010.

At this time the SP does not reflect the risk/reward potential of PM. I'm sure the market will realize that very soon.

If investing in PM (or any other AIM share) is too risky than I suggest you keep clear.
