As I said before ENOG has higher thresholds for return on capital - it’s not a question of commerciality

Chariot assessing its options on transfer of the license is very positive - there’s a plan and the sooner it happens the sooner progress can be made on path to development.

And there’s more to come - the market now has more information to do value discovery on the renewables business. Don’t be short here!

All I know is there was moderate interest in the data room - I genuinely Havnt heard anything else on this front.

Usually the way it works is that if you have no intention of progressing the license and fulfilling the terms you walk away.

I am not worried too much about CHAR - the current situation is frustration but the market needs more information on Renewables to do proper value discovery. That is coming sooon. It more than underwrites 2x the current price.

Biggest risk is they need cash in October but I think something will have happened by then…..

It was never a write off. It’s a big field - the issue is one of return on capital which for energean when they are high grading opportunities they want higher returns than this may offer.

ENOG walking sooner than later may be the best outcome but them taking it one stage further to put themselves ina position to sell/ farm out may be possible if resources there.

Timeframes - your guess is as good as mine. They can leave reports in draft for as long as they want!

Clearly resources aren’t increasing here but the downside chip is potentially smaller subject to assessment - it’s important as to the decision as to prospectivitynin wider license and as to whether they relinquish or continue to a point and exit to a mid tier player.

There’s no real doubt as to commerciality but the ROI is the biggest question - it can only come from either higher gas price or longer field life or both.

My understanding is that there was sufficient doubt over resources that ENOG and chariot al have undertaken further studies based on the original wells and incorporating data from the recent drill location. There have also been discussions on gas price - this much I also clear.

Onshore has moderate interest in the data room.
