My interpretation is he visited KX36 pipe in the central Kalahari prior to some well earned R&R.

The KX36 pipe in the central Kalahari could contain in excess of 10m carats with a $110 per carat value.
Kimberlite pipes rarely occur on their own, they are normally found in 2’s 3’s or 4’s.
JAHC has recently states that KX36 could be the most significant diamond discovery in Botswana since Opara & Jweneng. For reference Botswana is the one worlds leading producers and it is the production from these two mines which has put them there. Opara is the worlds biggest diamond mine by area and Jweneng the richest in the world by cpht. Each mine has produced 16m carats to date.
JAHC believes he has found something similar in the Kalahari. I believe he has.

As far as I an se me the 153m shares for which Monecor acted as agent in the placing and the 8% direct stake they just announced are two separate issues. They DID NOT simply fill the form out incorrectly as some hoping for a lower entry seem to be suggesting. Perhaps they sold on a trading view and therefore have set themselves a short term barrier to entry pending news! Oh well that is the downside balancing the potential upside for said approach. My belief is the detail presented in order to raise the funds had sparked somebodies interest.

Well, well well! From his location it looks very much that he is heading for kimberlite pipe KX36 near Gopo, Botswana as I suspected and posted last week. Google Earth has been pretty useful in working out, from his Twitter pics, where he is heading. Some one was asking what other exciting
projects BOD had other than our Thorny River project in SA. Well KX36 is as about as exciting as it gets!! There are two excellent write up which explain exactly the significance of this pipe. (this is what I was trying to tell ‘highlystrung’ last week, but he thought it condescending, oh well!)

From these two articles it is pretty easy to conclude what is coming.
The value of KX36 to BOD could be anywhere between £174m and £960m based on the current 100% ownership.
JAHC is on record as saying he believes the area has a high possibility of yielding further pipes and that

Nothing. Going by the companies own account of rents collected this could be a substantial payout albeit probably mostly in shares. Yes it dilutes the NAV a little bit so does paying case. I suppose it all depends on the directors view on whether the market has bottomed out or not. Ie if they think rising prices will help reduce LTV they may pay cash on the other hand if they think more pain is to come

Just as a bit of side detail the market was bidding 1.17p in size most of the day. Bodes well Ona day like today!! So has a final top up before the All Terrain type ‘after’ picture. LoL. Yes I did consider it could be R&R but then the Kalahari is no picnic and why the new tyres all round. North of the border is pretty much the Kalahari and I strongly suggest he is heading for the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and K Pipe KX36.
When/If he starts posting the Safari Pics then we will have a better idea where he is at. If it were me I would be heading for Gaborone to pick up some last minute supplies and then head NE into the Kalahari diamond zone.

They are waiting for permits to commence bulk sampling. JC’s comment on bulk sampling starting v soon I think on reflection must refer to KX36 in the central Kalahari, Botswana which I think is where he is heading by the looks of it. Next stop Gaborone.
