Wow, someone was prepared to buy £181k worth at £40
Someone is very confident
was able to buy a small top up for 16.29p
see cube hxxxs://cube.investments/cube-podcast-13-neil-johnson-duke-royalty-duke/
Note I am a holder so DYOR
Seems to be a tight spread as well - very strange.
Wonder what is going on - the price was already on the high side but has surged further.
any idea?
Given the 1 in 14 offer and using yesterdays closing price, then a rise of 20p or so would have been more appropriate.
The share is quite illiquid so maybe that's the reason. I would have preferred that the company to continue their share buyback programme and give a special dividend
Right or wrong I have topped up for my income fund as couldn't resist the 10% yield. Just noticed the CEO has made a purchase as well. Hence, a little bit happier; games will continue to be played until the shorts are closed so best not to watch on a daily basis
What's the weather like in Thailand Petch?
Might go lower but happy to pick up another £10k at 17.064p(below what the directors paid ). I'm prepared to be patient with this one. Value will come out in the end; just have to ignore all the noise.
The BUFFETTOLOGY FUND has increased their stake to over 14%. Although they don't seem too hot in completing the holdings RNS as there seem to be mistakes in most of the recent ones I have looked at. The percentages are not consistent and the number of shares seems stuck at 5,140674
Like Kalan I'm a bit annoyed on how this was done but looking at the bigger picture, it has given me an opportunity to top up under the placing price by the IIs at 27.66p
Have just topped up another £12k - can't believe I am getting it at this price with so much good delivered over the recent months.
Low volume with some strange 100 and 200 trades.
Majority of shares with LTHs and everyone else is waiting on the sidelines for the 7 deal to close.
When it does close this should rerate considerably so those on the sidelines should take an initial position as they could be paying a lot more if they wait.
Definitely looks undervalued so have taken a small initial position of £5k
AK, the rest of the board and the IIs have shown great patience and know the true value and potential of SAVP, so I can't see them selling to the first low ball offer, even if it is around its asset value. We are just at the end of the beginning of the journey that will see SAVP be a 10 bagger.
Agreed olderandwiser is doesn't compute :-)
Looks to be two lots of 1 million have gone though in quick succession around 12:18
An II building or increasing their holding is positive.
If the figures SP has published are anyway close, the share price will be many multiples of today's price when the deal is closed and it starts to deliver. If valued on its assets, it could almost triple and on FCF it could be 6 or more times depending on what assumptions you make. Happy to wait.
Picked up another £8k below 30p during the call.
Once the 7 deal closes this will fly
Topped up the wife's ISA with AMER - had to buy in two lots of £8k
This is a frustrating share as first bought in around 20p last year and made further buys around 13p but really thought something was wrong as it went to below 10p even though only good news was released. The recent news backed up by substantial director buys has changed sentiment so happy to hold for the long term.
