Some good take aways like we hit peak in the ground gold reserves, as in drilled resources, 7 years ago and majors have underinvested in exploration. Let the money flow and know patience will be rewarded. Not sure about a return to a gold standard is going to happen but it would be in everyone's longterm interest.

Depends on implementation or timescale of tax or sale imo. My money is on sale completion before tax change as government is typically slower than markets to react.

Seriously though. There may not be a near term bagger opportunity here despite DFS expectations but patience is virtue if the market really is a mechanism for wealth transfer from the impatient to the patient. Plus the fundamentals really have not changed, the issue here is sentiment which I personally find amusing as EML is my one non AIM holding and we all know sentiment is king in the realms of AIM.
And anyone reading this that is new to EML. Please note that to talk about EML as if it is an AIM listing is generally frowned upon as either A, an example of lazy/poor research or worse B. A lazy deramp. So given I have been here nearly a year I do not make the sentiment driven argument lightly.
However if you believe in the fundamentals then all you have going on now, for the short term (measured in months to this investor), is an accumulation opportunity. Medium term a topslice depending on entry point and long term? I personally think divis to come so long as not bought out along the way given existing LOM+CAPEX and even then the possibility of LOM extension exists to really pad out yon investment.
So determine your risk tolerance, objectives, timescales as well as funds and invest accordingly.

Oh do feck off with that odious noise. Fact, Woodsmith will be built, the exchequer will get it's taxes and the North will benefit. I lost money on SXX but unlike some I knew the risks of my (empashsis applied to my) actions in betting on a company with a limited cash runway, no proven product and a very expensive set of boreholes to sink and I certainly will not cry when things go against me and I will not go running to big brother for a bail out.
Honestly. Getting real sick of random SXX comparions. IS Polyhalite Potash? No, different buisness, different commodity, different country (and ergo government), differnt CAPEX etc etc and until recently the managment was completly different. Oh and saying buyer beware at this stage is like saying buyer beware when SXX was sub 5p before Anglo made their move.

I think I must be the last LTH that has not averaged up since suspension. I should have on day one of relist (and definitly during the 4p-2p short attack days) but after relisting this tenth of a penny AIM stocks fool was kinda priced out plus it would be a shame to drag that 0.982 average up. But if this pans out as I expect (optmistic but reserved £1.50 for me 'guvner) then I will set up an ISA that will transform my life going forward. Goodbye pub kitchen zero hour min wage, hello investing+CFD trading for a living.
