Guitarman, this will sound like I am being down on you but it's more just being honest.
You choose to pay a lot to buy in much later in the story so with less risk to your investment. I choose to pay a little early on but with much greater risk to my investment (140 quid, literally all I could afford at the time lol, damn CFD trading that went wrong (my fault)).
And luck had nothing to do with it dude. I'm not a lucky person but I can do my research (or at least validate other peoples better research tehe) and am blessed/cursed with very high risk tolerance.
Basically due to liking physics I did some looking at Pd itself as an element which led to me making a sweet CFD trade before gold shafted me and my confidence with CFDs but a by product was I learnt about the structural physical supply deficit , difficulty of mining Pd (denser than iron but higher on the periodic table...whattt) combined with a looming increase in demand. So I threw what little I could afford at EUA at the time, while still thinking of averaging down on SXX no less. Thank god I did not...
So at this point I would not bat an eyellid at daily price fluctuations as that is not the game being played here but I understand that does not come easily for everyone, especially those who came later in the game.

So basically. I take umbridge with the luck part of your comment cos brah. I did my work for this holding even if I foolishly prioritised a low average over more shares. Lesson learnt for when you really think it is nailed on. Get in early and get in to at least a 1000 pound profit (and loss) per tenth of a penny change as it derisks if you did not from the get go. Almost did that with UFO but it kinda took off on me lol. And use an ISA! (message for anyone investing and get a "flexible" one)
Been years since I had to pay tax, got a feeling that in a few weeks time I'm going to have to pay some CGT lol but amma play the game and use SXX losses against it :)

You could be very happy with your 500k share investment not just upon relisiting but should the expected Precious Metal bullrun be as intense as some expect then even my 85k shares could be a very strong investment to hold/ accumulate on for a few years with the obvious derisking and such along the way.

Good to here that napthman. I work in a pub and at this rate I'll be earning less than during furlough! Saw Stretchum in VAST not long ago asking if it was a good entry point so I guess he has made his trade here and moved on. If true then it would be the first truly negative thing I could say about the BOD ie they should be honest on what the money was being raised for. I didn't like the 11th hour NOMAD appointment but that is the closest I have come to being like, BOD what are you up to.

Not sold a bean in either UFO or EUA and got in early on both. But unlike with EUA, I made sure to average up in UFO as it derisked in my eyes. EUA will not be life changing money for me (a year or 3 wages probably), UFO could well be lifechanging however due to the number of shares difference I have.
In but a 2 and a half pence rise UFO has EUA beat on paper profit as of now. Lol! My roadway to quitting the rat race for good has gotten much shorter:) And my main takeaway is patience really is a virtue.GLA

Missed BZT but got in the other 2 nice and early, only 14k shares in EUA but a more respectable 252k shares in UFO so no major investor am I. But as things stand come this Friday my couple hundred quid is likely going here to average down and accumulate because seeing the difference in what a few pence rise with hundreds of thousands as opposed to 14k, can do to paper profit, has been quite the experiance lol. Hoping to hit 400k here so not quite in need of a TR1 yet...

Been around for almost a year now, this was my 3rd investment and mainly due to lucy. Got a lesson in being spiked but have simply did what I have done with EUA and UFO, be patient and remember what I have researched in conjuction with keeping up with newsflow plus sentiment. Looking better on that front here that's for sure and it was BP that kept me from selling up.

So here's to some decent asset based refinancing and a timely JORC to underpin it all. It'd be great if I could add VAST to my 4 contenders for making a life changing amount in the next 5 year that's for sure.
And now I've said all that a JORC will land on the 22nd and I get priced out. Fingers crossed!

Hi Oldblue, think less life cycle of a miner and more exploration and JV. Also you should look at the iron ore assays and compare to Fenix Res. Just one asset justifys current MCAP as I see it and as you say there is a current JV to be announced by 23rd Oct and news on multiple silver projects at a time where industry experts are predicting a PM and base metals bullrun. So imo this rerate is justifyied and with legs in it.
PS. Looking forward to seeing how CH handles JG elsewhere. ;)

Lithium demand may well be up but I personally am wary of a Lithium bubble due to regulatory demand suddenly shifing to innovative tech like BMN's focus of VRFBs (vanadium redux flow batteries). Lithium ion batteries may be energy dense so good for domestic use but suffer from thermal runaway, VRFBs do not and have longer cyclelife making them better suited to larger economics of scale and that is where the big money will be in the green agenda. Scant concern for the little person as ever I'm afraid. And Tesla is messing around with battery make up so who knows what will come out on top when it comes to the renewable dollar (as opposed to petrodollar).
