Happy chimp I’ve quoted the figures from EUAs own RNS releases, and accounts filed with Companies House. It’s not something I’ve made up. It was a genuine question, could that be the reason for the lack of bidders? You want reality? 2022 £7.2 mil loss, 2022 mining season concentrate with a gross value £3 mil, gross value without transport and processing costs.

Maybe the bod just can’t sale the assets, we entered the formal for sale process 1st July 2020 with multiple inbound enquiries, in almost 4 years we are reduced to “low visibility” and two interested parties one from Russia and one from Hong Kong with the bod hopeful by the end of 2023. Any buyer will want to make a profit on mining activities including recovering purchase costs. In the one year we have mined its cost twice as much as it is worth to get the concentrate out of the ground. For whatever reasons maybe it just isn’t viable to mine at current commodity prices.

Rayski although someone had my post from yesterday removed to repeat the basic facts from RNS releases 2022 mined concentrate gross value £3 mil. Loss £7.2 mil with some one off costs. To be viable metal prices have to double from 2022 prices.

Makeabundle I think its extremely unlikely that potential bidders are still around from three years ago, wonder if a mass exodus of potential bidders is the reason the bod decided to try mining?

Rayski referencing a RNS from almost three years ago which has since been updated and downgraded by the bod adds nothing of value to the conversation. It doesn’t matter what the value is in the ground if you make a 50% loss mining it.

Somewhat out of date Rayski that was May 2021, notice the word potential bidders, near 3 years later where are they? We have since progressed to low visibility and hopeful by end of year. That’s last year!!!

Also the palladium, platinum, rhodium, iridium and gold producing company, we haven’t produced anything since 2022 and that was at a loss.

That said some interesting exchanges today I still lean towards a lower price, but understand that others feel the price will be higher.
