Interesting my responses have been towards the likes of Rayski and Sharebel who actually put people down for disagreeing with them, when their record shows them to be no better than those they insult.

Rayski you are entitled to your opinion but you have been saying the same thing for more than three years, gold, crypto, BRICS buyer, EUA will be a global company, at one point 70% down here when it was 8p, it’s now1.55, plenty of top up posts, buying for your wife’s ISA. You have to be seriously under water here, 3 years and you are yet to be right about anything EUA, yet you still try to preach to the rest of us.

Rayski, you swallowed every ramp Tillyswizz chucked your way, nothing you have suggested would happen has actually happened. You have been invested here since Dec 2020 so please your views count for nothing

I’ve got friends who own a lodge on Signal Hill Cape Town, I visit regularly, there is more to it than a simple transfer of fiat to gold based but don’t let you jumping to the wrong conclusion completely spoil your ramp and opportunity to mention gold yet again.

The Zimbabwe dollar is no longer accepted in most African states they needed a currency backed by something with physical value rather than fiat based, it had got to the stage where it was becoming impossible to spend Zim dollars and if you cold find a bank willing to risk exchanging them for Rand, the inflation rate was so volatile that it would not stay still long enough to make the exchange.

Well Mac I have to say ignoring timeframe and possible purchase price when it comes to the buyer you are almost guaranteed to be right, looking back at your posting history there are very few countries or companies you haven’t suggested as the possible buyer at some point in time. Just waiting for you to include Kentucky Fried Chicken to your list of possible purchaser companies and Burundi or Haiti to your list of countries.

Firstly Mac I’ve not been selective I included and gave credit for the 18% out of extreme poverty, yours are 2019 figures, mine are since Russia invaded Ukraine, G20 countries with a much lower rate of extreme poverty had less to lift out. South African poverty is increasing and there is resistance and resentment to being asked to increase contributions by 10%. Argentina recently declined an invitation to join. The world bank and IMF both consider China to be in economic decline based primarily on a crisis within its property sector an aging population far worse that world population aging, failures of one child policy leaving a reducing birth rate producing insufficient income to support the aging population. The property decline is projected to last at least another 4 to 5 years.

The wording on the RNS 7th Dec 2023 was specific “counterparties based in Hong Kong and Russia, yes Essar has an office in Hong Kong as it does multiple other locations, it’s based in Mumbai, so simply does not fit the profile referenced in the RNS.

Mjd the one off costs which I have previously recognised would have to have been £4.2 mil to balance the books anything less still indicates an operating loss.
