Hey - sorry you have big losses. I bought this at just over £2 after the covid lockdowns and it went to £3,30. didnt sell as thought "long term great and dividends coming".I know drip feed each month. Average of about £1.60.... i think this will come good. Must be almost at low now and in years time when interest rates low, and one more year closer to 2027 (when margins estimated) ... then this will recover. Long term drip and hold for me and now 4% dividends..... sell at about £4... or so.
What do people think of this? realistic?
Toyin... your post makes no sense.... you want to see a 7 figure revenue???? Based on what? About £50,000 now??? How is that going to happen?!
Get real. The share price is tanking. The truth is that this company and product has disappointed and look at opti. It's a mediocre product with no sales. That's the harsh truth I'm afraid. I hope I'm wrong.
But toyin, tell me the plan fro gettinhf rom £50k revenue to £1million+????? Please tell me
"While current sales are materially below budget they are growing and expected to be significantly increased by enhanced marketing spend"
I guess that doesnt help.... the sales are still marginal... and not significantly better than appalling.... despite increased marketing.... still... some glimmers of faint hope...
i read the RNS... sales are still appalling but at least *some* growth..... but still appalling... the market still laughs at the 1.2 million that was the aim in June 2022? Is that it? And the rest is all "jam tomorrow"... ie it sounds promiising but nothing tangible yet? Is that why it fell? at least it rallied ... still looking like not a great investment by me...
what caused the drop in the share price today? it was nearly 20%... can anyone enlighten me?
:(
I bought this share at about 20p but average about 30p.....and i didnt sell at 75p :(.
Can anybody tell me what there is to be hopeful about? I mean there is no significant increase in sales. Spain wont add much sales, launch will be a small event.
Is it basically the ongoing hope (for almost 3 years now) of a Croda deal and the oft mention "just you wait for acne".
Is there anything concrete for any hope here?
Appreciate the email and dialogue. Rather than the banal "things are great, we never were a b-to-c company and yet SA did it miles ahead of schedule.... we are always a b-to-b" load of BS that Elrico normally comes out with.
Its been a lamentable performance by SA. I hope Dr Cathy, as the founder ahs not been bamboozled by a smooth talking commercial guy from Smith&Nephew... who so far has not delivered upon her scientific research. His performance and delivery has been woeful. Get your act together and get details on the plan and momentum going. And also, here is a tip, hire a CFO who can meet year end results. Good god.
Thanks again Clio.
Fair enough. I look forward to the next revenue update and the Croda update and the pillars update. And then we can recalculate the PE again then? Fair enough?
The lack of news or update on a plan ... other than "hey, guys we may acquire someone as we raised cash" or "not long now until Croda deal".... which has been going on for more than 2years...
Is that it? Really? And is that it for a strategic plan of action. Great. That seems very dynamic and modern and up to date.
With current number if shares, market cap is 33.76 million. Okay.
At current declared revenue (£70k) the PE is 482....
Lol. What great value! Im confident that the company will make these large growth plans needed to match even this dismal share price. Who wouldn't be given past records! Pass the salt bob, i want some more of Mrs Miggins' fish and chips
the poor accounting of miscounting more than £200k remarkable when revenue was £70k lol. How can you mistake nearly 300% more than your revenue... imagine a blue chip company doing that.... oh and then the new FD saying "oops, sorry guys, i knew year end results were coming, but please, sir, can i have more time, as im new and havent had chance". yep, that happens all the time in professional companies. Add to that SA saying "dont need marketing plan or spend for a launch lad". Admit it, adds up to Mrs Miggins' pie shop amateur hour....
Never mind. The next pie and pint planning and update meeting in Manchester will sort it all out. Elrico can record it and post and do an interview. That will fix things.
Roll on to breaking 6 figure revenue figure this year! and then we will be almost at 8% of original target revnue lol
? i havent sold out lol. Bizarre. What strange people. I dont understand why people get so emotive on their shares. Its been a disastrous strategy and ppor communication apart from the frankly amateur discussions in northern pubs.
The sales are atrocious and no news on the other pillars and no RNS or news on Croda. fact or not?
what??? oh god no!!! Why are they spending money on marketing?????? Dont they know anything?! Stick to the strategy of no marketing!!!! That worked well. You dont get £70k in one year without doing the hard work! Dont change a winning strategy now by, you know, actually telling people about your product. Come on SA, stick to your guns - "no marketing spend lads and... we are not a company whose SP will change on news". No? Okay, i think it does. I think the SP does come down on the NEWS of no sales. No? Disagree SA?
i remind all, the target was £1.2million by june 2022. What a joke. If this was a Prime Minister or another CEO, people would be calling for the management team to be replaced.
increasing sales? are you serious? Good grief. There are next to no sales. You could fit all the axisbiotix users into one pub for the next meeting of the planning / marketing strategy and chat with elrico.... over a pie and a pint and brag about ... "Hello lads, look at that. No marketing spend, yeah? Arent i great? What's that? no sales either... ah, but lad, the 10 people who are using it, 7 of them are still using it. And some people say it wasn't a successful launch. Idiots eh, lad? Another pint and steak pie? Smashing. Elrico, lets do another impartial and very hard hitting non-biased interview".*
* purely my best guess of the planning and marketing meetingat the company and the bizarre meet in a pub catch ups ....
Revenue was £70,000. Still a joke. 18 months after launch and no trend of significant increase in sales.
The revenue for 2022 was £7000. A joke. The sales are not increasing. So i think we all agree now that b-to-c side of things is gone. Those of you believe in SA will say "thats okay, never was the priority we are b-to-b". Ok. Fair enough. What is the next milestone for this? I have been hearing "Croda" for over two years....
So what are the next big milestones to further this company and share price?
"no one doing the accounts properly for best part of year"
Jesus... and this from a pro SA guy... that sounds like a multimillion revenue company doenst it??? Of course it does. Not an amateur Mrs Miggins Fish and Chip shop "Hello elrico dearie, fancy a large cod and chips and then we can go and have a beer and discuss where the chip shop is going. Ohhh, lovely. "
Good grief
Okay toyin and others... is this not more evidence of severe amateur mess and management? No wonder the CFO wanted to delay things, he saw what an amateur mess it was. Good grief... now worse than reported loss.... due to accounting errors
£1.8m in cash left and losing about £3mill a year.... so what? 7/8 months cash left? A dilution in Q1 2023? More desperation for a croda deal, so they will demand even better deal for themselves. If it ever happens.
What a mess.... and shareprice down again... i am fearful now for my money... a risk of going into single figures SP. What an amateur company.
Toyin / all, apart from the "great" interview with elrico.... (laughabale).... here is the fact. SA as CEO has presided over a company failing a launch, not done anything to significantly increase sales, missed hiw own launch target by 98% (i still remember elrico and all implying that "material miss" did not necessarily mean a massive miss of launch target (laughable) and then when results came out "doesnt matter this is only one pillar and its a b-to-c really". Again laughable.
And now, the CEO has presided over a basic accounting error and worse than initially reported figures. A "black hole" if this was a bank...
So tell me, why isnt the CEO amateur? why is he doing a good job. Id love to know.
Its the same active ingredient. Just cosmetic pillar rather than the psoriasis pillar.
