Well, for one, to trade you need a traders mentality and to make money you have to catch it right, all of the data available on traders suggests that 85% of them don't get it right. Second guessing what this SP is going to do at any given time is something I can't fathom and believe me I've tried. If I sell it will go up, that is guaranteed.

Well, it appears the lure of a dividend is not doing much to attract buyers, which does concern me where this may go ex. We are all guessing, been a bit of a ride this one.

Given that this share can't even manage one blue day I think it safe to assume that not everyone agrees. It's tiresome is what it is.

I suggested this morning that my gut feeling was this may slip back to 475 between now and ex dividend, I didn't expect it to happen that quick, couldn't believe the price when I looked back in this eve. If only i'd had enough conviction in my own thoughts I would have sold up when it was at 510, doh! Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Yes, on a much longer term chart it is all a dip, fair comment, I was just thinking aloud and trying to second guess what happens next in the immediate future as others were. Cheers

Trouble is it is only a dip on the 1-5 day chart, on the 1 month chart a reasonable dip would likely be 475 or thereabouts. Anyones guess at the minute.

Is it not a simple case of SP topped out over results excitement, over for now and return to drift until dividend date approaches? I've been wrong before however.

I've read every statement they ever made, it's been going to be "the" year for the last 4 years. I admire your patience if nothing else.

Reading some of these posts there are obviously posters relatively new to the share, I would suggest you read back through the hundreds of hyped up RNS's going back years and take particular note of just how far all of them have progressed, I could save you the bother but better off learning for yourselves. The reality is the SP only ever reached highs on over promoted BS and hype from NR and co, far from being oversold it has a huge unsupported Market cap in relation to earnings and there is no foreseeable reason why this shouldn't return quickly to the high 20's and continue its downward trajectory towards a fair value of sub 10p. Sad but true.

As usual almost 100% small volume algo. trades here, they are trying very hard to keep a lid on it and work it down, frustrating to say the least. I know both arguments regards the divi payment, my feelings are it is very necessary here to turn the tide in their favour and gain upward momentum. No divi just won't cut it to draw new investment.

This used to be a place to drop in for sensible discussion and opinion not that long ago, how about calling a truce, it's not like everyone hasn't got other more pressing stuff to deal with. We are all here to try and make money one way or another, how about we ALL try and show each other a little respect? Most likely fall upon deaf ears but if people could just take a breath and think of Santas frustration at struggling with his very large, full sack that he gets to empty only once a year that would be great. MFGP premarket currently standing at £4.61 (6.24 US dollars) so little wonder someone is trying to jump in. Hopefully now with the tide turning we are on for a long run of good days, we are due them.

I sometimes enter dummy buys and sells to try and gauge demand for the shares, does anyone fully understand how it is that I am able to sell up to circa 35K worth within the displayed spread price yet we are constantly seeing sells of very small volume beneath the current spread? Like someone is constantly throwing low ball sells into the market, obviously a short sellers tactic which cannot be possible with cooperation from a MM? Which will also allow those short to close at lower prices. Answers on a post card

Of course you have a choice, the best thing you can do now is to research the market and place the pot you have left in what you feel is the most likely companies in the market to go up and recuperate your losses. The worst thing you could do is remain invested in a company you have little or no faith in. The fact you continue to hold your investment here suggests you feel it is in a good position to make a recovery play towards your entry price of £11-£12 so you feel this is the best place? That will do for me. For your info I've just recently crystallised losses of %65 on a very poor investment and placed it here. Good luck.

twopp - reading back through your posts I'm suspecting you are a previous long gone short? Or are you just determined to push home a personal experience? Either way, all of those problems are slowly moving to past tense and looking to the future I only see improvement from here. I believe the most recent numbers show a lot of work and positive changes going on behind the scenes moving the company forward toward a recovery which we are seeing, which is the important bit for our investment don't you think?

Totally agree with your projections. the current share price is insanely low no matter how you view it. For clarification I had been trying to get my head around the price drop this morning from 479p to 450p. I expect a return to 2000p + over the next couple of years. Cheers.
