Yes I realise that, but unless Evraz is going to be suspended indefinitely surely it's another indicator that there is a disassociation coming for all things Russian? I also realise that the Kazakhstan assets here are to be the likely saviour but only hope that's enough before it's too late.

Following this morning's RNS from Evraz stating that their shares will cease trading on the CREST system and will be reverting back to paper certificates, anyone feel there is a danger of that happening here?

Simply too much concern of what might happen here next for investors to go digging deep in their pockets, for sure the numbers watching and waiting with me from the sidelines will be growing so when something positive and reassuring happens here the price will move very quickly. Until then a steady drift down is on the cards.

Hosai, the main reason the share price is languishing down here is because your average PI's are very fickle and weak when it comes to investing, often selling at a loss due to the inability to control emotion. Quite Frankly I feel MM will be very happy to get shot of the lot of us and start afresh. Management have given us clear signals, they can't do more.

Why stop at 67p Goldy? That where your buy target is? The reasoning for RNS silence when coupled with the latest activity and share transactions by management makes complete sense. You should probably just buy now, just saying ;)

Having mulled the options being discussed I agree to all the signs pointing toward privatisation at the circa £2.50 level. As well as the gains for MM already mentioned, one last laugh will be on account of his last share transaction he'll get to see his long time nemesis shorting crew donating much of their previous gains to his chosen charities. To be fair I look forward to seeing it myself. All the ducks are lined up.

Following the recent streak of positive press, ratings and now director buys I really can't imagine who would be selling down here, surely there can't be many weak holders left to flush out? Count down is on to a rerate I feel. Hold the line.

Well, debt accelerating, I get impression a dividend in the foreseeable future will be highly unlikely, no end in sight for sanction and the ever increasing dire sentiment toward anything Russian, I'm out as of this morning but will be watching from the sidelines for any future positives to appear. With the majority of brokers allowing only sells its not difficult to comprehend how the SP could do other than drift South. In the long run however it's most likely that those in a position to still be able to buy at these artificially low prices stand to benefit a great deal if/when full access to trading returns. How long this will take of course is anyone's guess. Important thing for me to see at the moment is that the company is still running along as close to usual as it can in the background and targets are still being met.

So this IPO'd at near £8 January 21 and now can't give the shares away at 75p? FFS, management deserve at least some kind of medal :(

Except you posted that at 819p and it's now 799p, this is currently no longer a growth company and the economic climate will continue to hit hard on revenue and profits for who knows how long?

BB- I can agree with all of that but unless you feel this chat board is a gateway to changing the mentality of the blinkered western masses what is the point? Or perhaps you just enjoy the sound of your own keyboard? Most of us come here to possibly learn something about and discuss the company which is POLY.

One hundred percent agree chippy, if POLY can keep doing what they do and come out of the other side of this making profits and paying dividends at previous levels then the SP will most likely find a level which will equate to a sub ten percent dividend, realistically nearer five percent. Investors are driven by returns, the SP will take care of itself. Buy as many as you can at these levels, ignore the noise, don't overcomplicate the investment and sit back to enjoy the ride would be my unprofessional advice. DYOR

Roxy, regards your post at 8.56 addressing earnings up 16% and current dividend stated at 33%, you do know that the dividend is the payout expressed as a percentile of the current SP and not company earnings? Appears you don't. The dividend payout from the company is no greater than it was in previous years but fortunately presents a fabulous opportunity for those lucky enough to be able to grab shares at these current heavily discounted prices.
