With reference to Shadow fall report, for all statements such as "snake oil" could only make a negative impact, the real facts are that their customer base is growing rapidly and customer satisfaction is on the increase within a sector that is in high demand and growing rapidly. In this instance it is worth remembering that their product only needs to be equally as good as as other options on the market to survive, a better sales, delivery and maintenance system will allow it to thrive on among others as we are seeing. As for ML verdict would it really make much of a difference to the company in the long run given that his only connection now is holding shares?

Any ideas what's caused this swing today? Sensible answers only please.

I don't think the shorting fraternity here enjoyed reading that trading statement at all and are currently throwing everything in their power at it trying to keep a lid on the SP, I do believe however that as investors digest just how well THG has bee able to perform through such difficult trading conditions the tide will turn with enough momentum to spoil the shorters game entirely. Blue finish I'm betting on.

Agreed, signs and outlook here appear positive which would seem a poor time to increase a short position, unless it's purely to allow them to try and reverse recent positive sentiment with even more downward pressure. I believe as below their time is running out and 4% is a lot of buying to close out. Holding fast. LTH

Don't know of such a list available but number of clients stated as 5600 in latest MFool article. Not sure how accurate and able to place any faith in their views on DT (or anything else) as they appear to change from one extreme to the other on a weekly basis, quite frankly they just make themselves look silly in my opinion. Awe cmon Claire you little turncoat, do you think we are all stoopid? You were pumping this like it was your last ride even when it was up in the 900's, the ML situation was just the same then. Since then DT has moved on down the road, picked up a couple more large contracts and the decrease in SP has doubled the value for new investors. Let us know when you're back in, although I'm sure your next 180 degree change in sentiment will give your game away.

And I think it's a given that a position in the FTSE100 will not be maintained, I don't think that will come as a shock to anyone which has been one of the contributing factors to the sustained fall.

Sheltie, you say you are in here but constantly shouting it down, I'll choose to believe that is because you are hoping to buy more and average down. What makes you think 450p is the floor? Or is that just when you'll buy then stop whining? For the record I'm all in at 560p having miscalculated the bottom by a long way.

I've give up trying to call numbers on this one as the SP continues to act in an irrational manner outside of my own thoughts and projections. Wether due to an unusually high percentage of holders with the ability or small PI's that panic and bail I'm not sure but looking at the volume and average trade value I'll guess the latter. One thing sure as eggs is eggs, just as nothing can continue to go up it can't continue to go down. Any guesses at the bottom here are purely that, guesses and if folk don't control their emotions they will be self fulfilling. Given the potential here relative to its peers it could be very good value. I'm now in heavily at average of 560 as looking at potential, broker views and technicals this is enormously overs

Well for sure my attempt at calling the bottom at 566p was off by a country mile. Looking at all of the angles it must be close now?

To be fair I feel there will be a bounce from here but how high and for how long I really have no idea. I'll leave that to the experts.

Ndn71, those buying in at 7, 8 & 9 pounds most likely didn't do much diligence to see if DARK was worth it or not, they were most like driven by FOMO and really didn't care as long as it continued to go up.

Yes, admittedly you have been relatively accurate with some of your forecasts but then it's a lot easier when its operating within an observable range driven by the human emotion of an up trending SP, I'm no longer sure it is as easy? So is it the consensus that this is the bottom? I'm sounding like Charles now :-)

A fair reply Claire but weren't you one of the regulars pumping people to get onboard while this was at 750p recently? Now you're telling those same people they are in for an a rough ride?

I hope for holders that bought higher up that this does recover but may I ask you Claire on what basis do you think it will? If I thought this was the bottom I could be tempted to take a stake but being so far above the IPO price without notable progress since I'm just not sure. Might be better waiting for an uptrend to be re-established first? What do you think?
