Thanks for the reply Charles, I'm all for being speculative and accepting risk/reward but a loss making company in new technology which already has falling margins and is failing to retain a rising number of customers? As someone previously mentioned it would take over 60 years of current revenue to achieve current marcap, it's madness, very serious positive numbers required very soon before the non relenting gravity takes over.

Another innocent question, I'll aim it at Charles as its mostly relative to his posts. Do you think it is really possible to take a non profit company of this comparatively small company, make up a SP and market cap. large enough to enter the FTSE100 and remain there indefinitely? I honestly find it ludicrous. The SP has been taken this far on hype, excited sentiment and greed, it can not possibly remain here without some very serious positive numbers to back it up, can it? My window cleaner is currently making more profit than DARK and retaining more customers. It doesn't make any sense?

That link wasn't to my opinion, I got the impression that all relative news articles, diverse and all opinion was welcome here? I'm interested here but genuinely concerned that the current SP is a bubble that can't be sustained, the article suggests I'm not alone with my thoughts. I'm not saying I'm right.

Totally agree regards where the short term potential is headed, 900p is showing signs of crumbling, parachutes at the ready...

Edge of the next cliff approaching? As the SP at these levels can't be supported by any financial metrics available in the real world there is nothing but sentiment holding SP at these levels. Will common sense, fear or greed win out? it's certainly interesting to watch

Hi Matt, I don't disagree with the long holds on both but Dark still as a very small company with reported increasing losses albeit explained, and a rising number of customers choosing not to continue using their products, add some hope and is that really all the qualifications required to achieve a 6 Billion marcap and potential inclusion in the FTSE 100? This has got way ahead of itself no matter how you look at it.

Hi Charles, yes I have interest in MCRO, another company heavily into cloud and cyber security, over 40,000 customers, a recurring revenue of 3 billion expecting to increase from recent tie ups with AWS and Snowflake, paying a 4.7% dividend and has a marcap of circa 1.2billion, another share showing clearly that sentiment and trend have a far greater impact on SP than fundamentals.

Hi Charles, no, just a lowly PI that to be fair wished he'd been along for the ride. But having read and reread the company financials has also been totally flabbergasted at the rate of climb in the SP and been watching with interest for common sense to prevail and the bubble to burst.

Educated guesses on where the pullback will stop? 600p -700p?

Realistically how on earth should it be possible for a loss making company with such a small customer base be entertained in the FTSE 100? With their current metrics would be total madness, but then I'm certain most people that have made money on the way up knew that. A cracker for those on that ride, well done.

It's been a good momentum run while it lasted, could it now return to a more sensible and realistic value based on fundamentals? If so could have a long way to fall

Didn't 380p look like a floor a short while ago? Currently appears more like a ceiling! Patience, patience, surely the true value will feed through into the SP eventually.

Agree entirely with Darktrace valuation and ridiculously low valuation here, a 4B debt which is huge but when placed in perspective against a 3B recurring revenue likely improving over next couple of years and assets of 9B It's a no brainer.

Sorry are you Nuri the ex MCRO employee that recently bought 25k MCRO shares having fully reread the latest RNS or Nuri the tractor driver that sold out because the SP didn't immediately po reform the way you wanted and now think MCRO is going bust? Do you even know which one you are at any given time? You are comedy value if nothing else

I agree entirely with your sentiment, unfortunately the effect that has of stifling the SP for so long will be leading some investors to lose patience and sell, which of course is all part of the manipulation. I am now hoping that there is a bid for MCRO at anything above where we are, it may just be the catalyst required to regain interest and upward momentum.
