The only reason they have to submit an application to the council is because of a blunder made by previous management.
As long as they make it very clear to the council that the new management is not the same as the previous management, which they appear to be doing, it is not unreasonable to suppose that the council will process their application without undue delay.

Not much consolation then Charlie - considering we won't be seeing anything concrete in the way of "potential" progress before the middle of NEXT YEAR at least.

In other words... YET ANOTHER placement coming in the New Year and at a much lower SP than today!!!!!!

Costly blunder that one re Balcombe.
The permitting process is time-consuming enough as it is without creating an additional hurdle for oneself.

At the time, apparently, more or less 2/3rds of Angus's valuation was, therefore, related to Brockham.
As time goes by, the importance of Saltfleetby and Balcombe to Angus will be better-appreciated by the market.

It's only relatively recently that I've been keeping a close eye on Angus, as the share price went into almost-vertical decline.
My current position is a small one (which became £s smaller after the Brockham RNS!).
I am thinking of doing more than simply "hanging in".

Discontented investors can sell (although they can always buy back in again), new investors can buy in for the first time.

Think this board has gone into a deeper meltdown than the stock itself and has become a kind of negative mental loop.
The current share price makes no allowance for Saltfleetby (estimated net cash flow of £2-3m pa, but reconnection to the National Gas Grid remains to be confirmed) or Balcombe's prospects, so is significantly undervalued.

Maybe the conference call will help to turn investors' minds towards the future, both in the shorter and the longer term.
