I assume the assay results will be much in line with what has already been reported from the mine in the past.

Much more interesting, imho, is what it will say about Alba's ability to use modern technology to find the gold and to develop the mine in the future.

For example, in Angus's case, the tax losses form part of the Saltfleetby CPR, because the CPR is forecasting taxable profits.

The tax losses are worth more than the current market cap, of course, but that worth can only be realised against taxable profits in the company in which the losses are located.

This morning's news is positive, on both counts.
