... Pinarova-1 has reached its final depth of 600 metres below surface. Electric logs over both the 95/8 inch cased hole and 8 1/2 inch open hole section have been acquired and the delivery of a final log interpretation is awaited.

Plans are now being made to run a conventional selective cased hole flow test operation. The proposed uppermost zone, from approximately 255-285 metres, corresponds to a 12-hour period of strong oil odour at surface and the recovery of light c. 38˚ API oil within fluids returned to surface from the same depth ...

A sample of the oil recovered from Pinarova (as detailed above) along with samples of the 41.7˚ API oil recovered from the active seismic shot-hole seep ... and 43˚ API oil from the nearby East Sadak field, have now also been dispatched to the UK for detailed geochemical study.

The oil study's primary objectives are to determine; a. whether the Pinarova oil sample matches the oil from the shot-hole seep, b. whether it's derived from the same general Upper Jurassic source as E. Sadak or c. it has another origin from shallower Cretaceous origin. The geochemical results will assist the Company's current investigations into the possibility that a deeper light oil accumulation may also exist below the Pinarova area within Cretaceous limestones.

Sarah Finch said today:

“ ... The present lack of clarity over Environmental Impact Assessments is dangerous. I hope that the Supreme Court will confirm that no fossil fuel development – coal, oil or gas – should be allowed without consideration of its full climate impact.”

Personally, I consider Sarah Finch's case to be dangerous. The implication is that nothing should be allowed by the law without consideration of its full climate impact: housebuilding, manufacturing, any human activity.

I really do hope the Supreme Court hearing today will hear and dismiss once and for all Finch et al’s challenge to the U.K. Government’s planning consent at the #HorseHill oil field. The decision is important not only for HH but also U.K. energy security.

Government defence: It is unusual for central government to involve itself in court cases about decisions by planning authorities. But the department of levelling up, communities and local government has joined the council and HHDL in defending the original EIA decision through all the challenges at the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

The one-and-a-half day hearing begins on Wednesday. A decision from the judges could take three to six months.

Resolution 6 – Disapplication of Pre-emption Rights

Resolution 6 proposes to dis-apply the statutory rights of pre-emption in respect of the allotment of

equity securities for cash under Section 561(1) of the Act. This is a special resolution authorising the

Directors to issue equity securities as continuing authority up to an aggregate nominal amount of

£843,855 for cash on a non pre-emptive basis pursuant to the authority conferred by Resolution 5

above.

The authority granted by this Resolution will expire at the conclusion of next annual general meeting of

the Company.

Resolution 5 – Directors’ Authority to Allot Shares

This is an ordinary resolution to grant the Directors with authority to allot and issue shares and grant

rights to subscribe for shares in the Company for the purposes of Section 551 of the Act up to the

maximum aggregate nominal amount of £843,855. This Resolution replaces any existing authorities to

issue shares in the Company and the authority under this Resolution will expire at the conclusion of the

next annual general meeting of the Company.

From the notice of the 2023 AGM - no mention of treasury shares of which, as far as I am aware, there are none.

The Times still don’t get the facts right. Horse Hill Licences have independent calculated nearly 10 billion barrels Oil in Place (OIIP) - Nutech and Schlumberger numbers. The entire Weald Basin - Nutech calculated over 100 billion barrels OIIP.

At least a half-page article on page 12 of the Times:

"High hopes for Eden's new project to generate energy from deep heat".

"Britain's first deep geothermal energy project in almost 40 years will be switched on today to test the viability of what supporters say is 'the sleeping giant' of renewable power ...".

The final appeal from Ms Finch is being held this Thursday and Friday.
