I don't see the posts of the doom-mongers, they are almost all on filter and have been for very many months.

The one exception is ZYX098, who's in Houston this week.

If little is expected from the interim report tomorrow, that creates a favourable context for positive surprises!

Would prefer expectations to be low than high.

Last year, UKOG raised funds about 2 months ahead of the indicated schedule (12/09/22 instead of mid-November).

Today, as a pure guess, it looks as if it may have arranged the facility about 4 or 5 months earlier than absolutely necessary.

presumably, the funding facility will strengthen SS's hand in any negotiations he may be undertaking/undertake in the future re, for example, a potential farm-out of Loxley, the Portland hydrogen project, ...

The timing is interesting given that, as far as we are aware, UKOG was under no immediate pressure to raise additional funds.

Taken the bull by the horns, securing funds earlier than anybody expected, kept that one well under wraps.

Effectively, a protracted placing. Avoids an initial one-off hit to the share price but likely to have a medium term depressive effect.

I don't see an offer being made in either cash or UKOG shares, for the simple reason that UKOG already controls HHDL so has no need to up its stake.

It would require a change of control of HHDL to change the situation but the proposed farm-in concerning HH-3 avoids the issue.

"John Wood is to work with Centrica on its plans to produce low-carbon hydrogen at the Easington gas terminal in East Yorkshire ... Centrica hopes to convert its Rough gas storage site ... into a £2bn hydrogen storage site".

Our vision is that our Portland/Dorset hydrogen storage would provide the key enabler for the decarbonisation of ExxonMobil's Fawley Refinery and two power stations, together with other regional decarbonisation developments.

This is a very large and ambitious project. It is early days yet but SS appears to be making serious progress with it.

Quite what it implies for the share price is, for the present and imho, difficult to assess but, long before we have any financial figures to work on, it can lead to a change in the company's stock market image.

value should be written down to £2.6 million, which aligns with the valuation attributed to its own interest by

HHDL’s majority shareholder.
