Good morning BDT, have apologised for such a glaring error, recognised as soon as I posted. The problem with LSE is you can't rectify posts once sent.
Cracking match yesterday, the Triple Crown could be yours this year!
So if the T&T EOR business was the first to be sold off, for say £12m for arguments sake then, with the current share issue at 240m shareholders would be in line for a 50p per share special dividend. Yes, I'd go along with that!
Hi Sefton,
Love your story, remember those times well but obviously not with close involvement such as yours.
Certainly not down, annoyed with myself yes, but now invigorated, inspired, by this fresh investment.
A bright blue horizon beckons!
Wishing you a good weekend free of floods, vicious natives and lions.
PS. There is a trade noted at 2.43pm, 113,261 @6.18 .. maybe yours?
What a week!
Disaster Monday, £80K BPC loss, no blame other than to beat myself up taking risk far too far ---- originally a CERP investor (and prior to that LGO) ----incidentally didn't vote for BPC. 12 years of huge ups and downs, a lot of money and precious time down the tubes. Have I learned a lesson and at last recognised that a conventional, balanced portfolio is that of the wise investor?
No, I haven't. I've tried that and the losers cancelled out the winners and made for a tedious no score draw. I prefer to back on the nose rather than each way.
So having sold out the BPC dud for a pittance on Tuesday, here the good news, 'twas sufficient to buy just under 600k here during the week, climb aboard an extremely attractive and interesting proposition and recover 10% already of my loss. I'll continue adding as funds allow.
Really appreciate the knowledge and decency, humour also, from thread contributors and right now feel very confident I've made a winning investment choice. Am slightly older than RP (do hope his middle name is not Ian!) but feel happy that there's a rewarding conclusion to be reached within Paul’s timeframes. GLA
Just for avoidance of doubt.....

The Exclusivity Period under the terms of the Heads of Agreement for C02 Gas Sales entered into by Predator with Massy Gas Products ("Massy"), has been extended to 31 March 2022.
Extension of exclusivity over Trinidad's entire surplus liquid CO2 supply and the successful execution of Trinidad and Tobago's first large scale CO2 EOR project for many years are compatible with the Company's strategy of developing and offering a flexible CO2 EOR services business in Trinidad to other operators.
Good post highlandmatt.
That's the beauty of the biz, one success out of three would prove a winner for shareholders at current prices but I'd back all three equally to bring home the bacon (with apologies to vegans).
Hi Sefton, you make some very valid points. As has been brought up many times here there are many future sector advancements that theoretically PRD shareholders would miss out on but, as you've outlined, with potential royalty streams PRD could turn out to be a bank that 'keeps on giving' !
Huge coincidence that you mention Polygram, spent 15 very happy years with that company!
Are you ex record industry?
Gradually building a worthwhile stake here.
I've little doubt that investing in PRD will prove highly rewarding from current levels and when reading some excellent, well-researched posts here regarding the massive potential that exists in both core and non-core activities I'm also mindful of PG's exit strategy.
In his Oct '20 interview Paul states his divestment plans despite his reluctance to give timescales.
They are to divest EOR later this year, Morocco next year and Ireland 22/23 before first gas.
Three big sell offs within three years, allowing of course for some Covid related slippage.
Not an unreasonable aim as I believe PG will be 70 this year and RP 75.
I appreciate and believe Paul's ultimate monetisation plans much more than other CEO's vague road maps I've travelled in the past that had more dead ends than the average graveyard. Looking forward to the next company update.
I would hope that any announcement is made after LO are completely out. Another couple of weeks would do that.
Yes, news of a material nature should be released immediately once known but we know that's not always the case and it would be to the benefit of holders to see the back of this big seller and let the sp climb unhindered on a good result.
As it is BPC will be left owing LO a pretty penny to assuage a 2.3 aggregate price commitment.
Interestingly promotes the benefits of a government JV as opposed to a PSA

Probably the reason why PageOfCups and Tiburn, two of the best posters on this board have temporarily withdrawn.
Most of today's posts excitable rubbish.
So what's with the presentation on the 28th?
Could it be a run through of T&T/Suriname actions, another 'Watch this Space' alert or maybe just a practice run by Uliel to see if he's mastered comms his end yet?
Totally agree, scheduled in advance for Day 40 in a 45-60 day drill.
BPC cancelled the last presentation, maybe they'll do the same again.
Otherwise all will be revealed in the next 5 working days!
Court decision as to whether or not BPC can be added as a party to current supreme court proceedings, ie given licence to legally pursue damages where proven.
