Presecco, I think that is what the ECMO treatment is for. When lungs are pumped synthetically you are not using your muscles to do it so the background damage is can be awful. I'm not sure how the ECMO systems work but I suspect they are very similar to the oscillating machines they use on premature babies whose lungs aren't fully formed yet.

This is a UK based bio-tech that have developed a therapeutic for Covid that has excellent Phase 2 results (peer reviewed by the Lancet) and has fast track FDA approval (since 18th Dec) with first dosing imminent. Why has the Govt. ignored this?
